Delivery was made next day which it was what I expected. I email customer service as I was charged for a Saturday delivery. Still awaiting response and refund.

Great grass. terrible customer service. items missing from my delivery, i called on the day and asked not to be charged for it. No refund, I emailed them about this a couple of weeks later. No response.

Ordered turf for a Friday, never turned up either Friday or Saturday, phone just kept going to a Christmas voicemail this is April? Rang Monday sales advisor said had no knowledge of the delivery even though I gave here delivery reference from email I received, waiting on phone finally she come back and said it was a technical error” would not offer any compensation only a bottle of lawn fertiliser’ even though I had landscapers waiting to lay it Friday and Saturday at a hourly cost to me tottaling over £350.00 did not even receive a call to tell me wasn’t coming, or an apology, finally delivered on Tuesday 4 days late’ never use again

The delivery turned up a day late and was missing part of the order. Despite 4 phone calls to see if the delivery was coming I never once got a call back. When I reported that it was missing I was promised a response - never got one.

ecoearth delivered was very poor quality mostly lumps of clay - product is supposed to be for turf seedlings and borders - I was mixing with largely compost and eventually broke up the clay although was very hard work. I should have advised the delivery man to send it back - I will never use this firm again

Incredibly disappointing service ultimately resulting in me receiving no turf, topsoil and boards and most shockingly, no refund. Fortunately I paid via PayPal who determined Turfonline were at fault & found in my favour, so I received all my money back and successfully ordered and received what I needed online with another company. If I had not paid via this method I would still be waiting for any kind of refund. I cannot comment on the quality of the goods since I never received any, but the customer service was appalling.

Very disappointed with quality,especially as they had used plastic material as the backing to hold turfs together ,This is not enviromently friendly as it appears not to be biodegradable .I f I had known this I wouldn’t have made this purchase.

Good morning, Sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the turf you received. Could you please email sales@harrowdenturf.co.uk so that we can address the quality issues you mentioned. As regards the turf netting, we use this to increase the strength of the rolls you receive, making them easier to handle. This also reduces the time required to produce the turf, reducing our carbon footprint associated with mowing a maintaining turf fields for a longer period of time. The net is entirely biodegradable and after 18 months will have no more strength than the grass roots itself. Spent over £350 for turf for my lawn. Two pallets arrived and I laid the turf as suggested on the website. The turf was watered well and the day after it was laid the rolls from the second pallet were already going brown. I contacted turf online who then sent me a generic email telling me how to water grass and ignoring my problem. I have recently asked them to replace the 14 rolls that had died and they have continued to ignore me so be very careful before spending your money. I paid for the best all rounder as well so didn't even go for the cheaper stuff thanks turf online for your terrible customer service

Not impressed at all, turf started to die off after 3 weeks. I was told I could buy some seed when I called you, there is no money back or turf replacement as advertised on your site. Very poor!!

The order was obviously contracted out for delivery. On arrival the pallets had been double stacked and jammed in to the extent the delivery could not be made - it was made mid- afternoon the following day. On looking at the turf it was in a very poor condition and has obviously been cut, rolled and stacked several days previously. Am bitterly disappointed with the quality of service - the whole exercise has been a nightmare.

Waited all day for my delivery. Made umpteen phone calls to find out what was happening. Was promised phone calls back but never happened. Delivery finally arrived 7 hours late

I ordered 15m2 of grass and 2 70lts play grade bark. I got 2 bags of 500kg of bark on Friday 23th/06. This 2 massive barks stayed the whole weekend in front of my house obstructing people use the walkway. Someone came and collected the 2 big bags on Monday 26th/06 and didn't leave my 2x 70lts Play Bark. I left a message at your voice mail and got no return. So far I don't have my Play Bark. What's going on???

Laid turf on ground that was rotavated and topsoil put down. Kept watered. Within 2 days it started to go brown and shrunk back leaving gaps. Rung them up. Woman on phone said I shouldn't of bought it as it was so warm and it was my fault. Why sell it then?

Turf had quite a few yellow patches on delivery and when questioned I was told it was very dry when it was cut. It certainly did not look like the pictures on TurfOnline. On that note, it was delivered from Turfland who do not have the 'Jubilee' turf so who knows what I received. What I found most disturbing was the number of damaged rolls of turf that should never have been sent. I did try to contact TurfOnline but needless to say reply was never received. I think a partial refund is in order. Will not use again.

What a disaster! I should have read the reviews. Zero customer service. I have ZERO goods and a bill for £560. This company do not read web application orders. I specifically stated that I required delivery by a small vehicle, that the delivery would be over gravel and I needed the turf and topsoil to be deposited near my front door. My order was accepted. An acknowledgment of order was displayed on the screen but no confirmation email. Furthermore, there was there was NO communication from the company saying that this type of delivery was not possible. The delivery was attempted two days later by an independent (local) road haulage company which used an enormous lorry that was too large to manoeuvre onto my drive. The delivery driver had not received any instructions about using a small vehicle and could not unload on to the narrow road, so returned to his depot with the topsoil and turf. I filed the problem on the “Contact Us” website page that night. Expecting a phone call or email the following morning, I waited until 14:30 before telephoning TurfOnline, only to told that the form goes to “a different office” and nobody in Customer Service had seen it! After extensive phone calls explaining the problem, the Operations Manager made the decision that there would be ZERO refund. There was no offer to attempt to resolve the problem with a redelivery using a smaller vehicle. They simply washed their hands of the whole contract. This company needs to align their online ordering system, their communications with external haulage contractors and their Customer Service, which may then result in a positive customer experience.

I had a delivery last Friday I have never had so many split thus or Ines with holes in. I have rang turf online and told them. I was asked to email and still have not had a reply

Turf is good quality but service is poor!advised by company a time it would turn up came 3 hours later. When turf turned up only 50% of the order was there. I now have a 5 hour round trip to lay 10m2 of turf.will definitely not recommend these or use in the feature. Customer service adviser even hung the phone up on me. No good will offered by company to even cover the cost of my fuel let alone my time.

The quality of the turf was very poor, it's seen totally dried up maybe due to transportion.

We ordered turf and were told that it would come the next day... it didn't. When we called to ask where it was they had plenty of excuses but at no point even attempted to contact us and let us know that they could not fulfil our delivery .... bad customer service!!

Many thanks for your feedback and we apologise for your experience. We have a close working relationship with our delivery partners but very occasionally we are not aware of issues until after the event which doesn't help in keeping the customer informed. I will look into the specifics of this case to see if there are lessons to be learned.

The whole order was incorrect, paid for a timed delivery and only half arrived (we refused delivery as turf arrived and none of the top soil or kit ) cost us £400 for the gardener as still had to pay him. Rude delivery driver and 6 days latter we are still chasing the refund and no response to email.
