“I needed a plumber urgently and I have previously had difficulty getting tradespeople out for relatively small jobs. This firm was brilliant. Not only was a plumber with me within hours, but the service centre also phoned me up to tell me that he was within 20 minutes of my house,"in case I needed to nip out before he got there". I was made fully aware of the hourly cost in advance, and there were no surprises. The plumber himself was very polite and knowledgeable, and fixed the problem, letting me know at each stage what he needed to do re: cutting into walls etc. Payment and invoices were easily completed. A very courteous and efficient service and I would certainly recommend them.”

“Initial visit by an absolutely professional assessor offering all types of boilers and explaining pricing, installation from A-Z. I had 4 quotes; this one was outstanding due to comptetitiveness and professionalism. It was not the cheapest but by far the best.
Dealing with their offices during the next stage was efficient and uncomplicated and all was explained again to clarify the installation and timings.

“The job was to service a gas fireplace which in essence was done however the fireplace is nowhere near its original standard and still only comes on after holding the gas on for a long time. Although we were told that that there may be more work required, I did not feel that paying £114 which is more than a 3rd of the cost of the fire itself was good value as we were not left in much of a better state than when we started although it wasn't working at all initially, hence the rating is not worse.
The main issue is that when the fireplace surround was taken off, it was done with little care and we now have numerous black scratch marks in the middle of our living room wall which will have to be repainted, of course at our own cost.”
“Two separate jobs, two separate people:
1. diagnosed a duff shower pump and replaced it. Expensive but professional.
2. couldn't diagnose a non-working underfloor heating. Spent time going through the possibilities but was flummoxed and just paid call out charge.
Telephone calls both times before the man arrived to say he was coming soon.”
“Following the installation of a new gas boiler the existing shelf no longer fitted the space allowed. The engineer was quick and efficient measuring up and adapting the shelf within 15 minutes. He was polite and friendly. He also gave me good advice regarding a window frame as I had requested.”
“The plumber was friendly and quick. He diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes. He however didn't have a syphon for the toilet and so he was unable to actually fix my toilet. I was charged for an hour's work (minimum charge, £79 + VAT), despite him only working for 10minutes. And my toilet still wasn't fixed. I was told that if I wanted the part to be fixed that day I would have to pay for the time it took to collect the part.
Next time I will be using an independent plumber.”
