“The operative who came round was astute and experienced and offered some useful tips. But it was a rushed visit - and it was emphasized that if we wanted another one we would be charged again. And not everything we were told worked out. We were advised that after 4 nights of consuming the poison, the mice would retire to their nest with hypothermia. Actually, and despite liking the poison, they were still around for ten days or so. We haven't seem them recently - but this may be due to their preference for the garden in warmer weather, as the man explained. It was recommended to us that we get something called an air-vent brick - easily available from Homebase or B & Q. Homebase said they hadn't sold such bricks for a year or so - and B & Q said that they sold the bricks only to 'trade'.”

“I DISCOVERED A BLOCKED DRAIN OUTSIDE THAT WAS CAUSING A BAD SMELL AND NEEDED SORTING QUICKLY,I CALLED PSG AND THE LADY ON THE OTHER END WAS MOST HELPFUL,SHE MANAGED TO GET A TIME SLOT THAT AFTERNOON,THE PLUMBER TURNED UP AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL IN HIS APPROACH,AND IN NO TIME AT ALL THE JOB WAS SORTED IN A QUICK TIME.I HAVE NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING THEIR SERVICES.THEY ARE PROMPT COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL.”

“The company was able to fit their engineer in around my timing preferences. The telephone call a little while before arrival was appreciated. The engineer was friendly, courteous , efficient and appeared to know his trade well. The one hic-cup was a failure to identify the root cause if the problem on the first visit which led to (partially my fault) some inconvenience that could have been avoided. The solution recommended and adopted was to replace the existing control system which was over-engineered and inappropriate for the property with a much simpler system which better meets the needs. A satisfied customer who would use them again.”

“I would normally do some research before hiring a plumber but on both instances i have had to have emergency call outs. Both plumbers who have visited my flat have been friendly, knowledgeable and talked me through what they were doing. I have even received a follow up call the next day to check if everything is ok. The reception staff are very friendly so its been nice dealing with a professionalism outfit!!”

“From start to finish , all the team were very helpful . The engineer who carried out the work ( fascia replacement )certainly knew his stuff ! The work was to a very high standard , and the site cleaned well after finishing the job. Would recommend and use again. Many thanks for all your help.”

“I needed a plumber urgently and I have previously had difficulty getting tradespeople out for relatively small jobs. This firm was brilliant. Not only was a plumber with me within hours, but the service centre also phoned me up to tell me that he was within 20 minutes of my house,"in case I needed to nip out before he got there". I was made fully aware of the hourly cost in advance, and there were no surprises. The plumber himself was very polite and knowledgeable, and fixed the problem, letting me know at each stage what he needed to do re: cutting into walls etc. Payment and invoices were easily completed. A very courteous and efficient service and I would certainly recommend them.”

“Initial visit by an absolutely professional assessor offering all types of boilers and explaining pricing, installation from A-Z. I had 4 quotes; this one was outstanding due to comptetitiveness and professionalism. It was not the cheapest but by far the best. Dealing with their offices during the next stage was efficient and uncomplicated and all was explained again to clarify the installation and timings. Engineers arrived on site and progressed the works. All done in one day. Again,totally professional,timely,left my place tidy and cleared all materials as agreed. The engineers set the new system for CH and water as I wanted it and went through the instructions comprehensively leaving me in no doubt as to what to do. An excellent and professional service throughout each department of the Company. I shall certainly recommend them to friends and family. I will aslo retain them for any future works that I plan for the future.”

“I have used PSG a couple of times now to service and maintain my boiler. Engineers have always been available promptly, arrived on time and have been friendly and knowledgeable. I am very happy with the service they provide and would happily recommend them!”

“VERY QUICK APPOINTMENT. ENGINEER ARRIVED BANG ON TIME. DIAGNOSED, SOURCED AND FETCHED NECESSARY PART. FITTED AND TESTED. GAVE ADVICE ABOUT POSSIBLE FUTURE WORK AND ABOUT RUNNING THE BOILER IN GENERAL. VERY PLEASANT THROUGHOUT. WOULD THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS ESPECIALLY IN AN EMERGENCY.”

“The carpenter showed up on time and was very nice. When I made the appointment, I had provided very detailed information about the job, but it was not passed onto the carpenter prior to arrival. I had made a request for the carpenter to bring a step ladder, but since the info was not passed onto him, he was not prepared. Still, he did a good job. Overall, it was a good experience.”

“Very professional setup, easy to speak to and on time for all appointments. Called to discuss work and did the small extra thigns (in this case, cleared a small blockage on on of the pipes that had been making the boiler work harder). Work was done on my tennanted property and the tennant was very impressed with the work”

“The job was to service a gas fireplace which in essence was done however the fireplace is nowhere near its original standard and still only comes on after holding the gas on for a long time. Although we were told that that there may be more work required, I did not feel that paying £114 which is more than a 3rd of the cost of the fire itself was good value as we were not left in much of a better state than when we started although it wasn't working at all initially, hence the rating is not worse. The main issue is that when the fireplace surround was taken off, it was done with little care and we now have numerous black scratch marks in the middle of our living room wall which will have to be repainted, of course at our own cost.”

“Two separate jobs, two separate people: 1. diagnosed a duff shower pump and replaced it. Expensive but professional. 2. couldn't diagnose a non-working underfloor heating. Spent time going through the possibilities but was flummoxed and just paid call out charge. Telephone calls both times before the man arrived to say he was coming soon.”
