“I had a problem and they came and fixed it within an hour of the first phone call. No rip off.”

“Advertises "no call-out fee" as well as half-hourly charge, but actually have a minimum one hour charge. This works out about the same as firms which charge call-out fees but only charges a minimum of half an hours work. Ended up paying £102 for ten minutes work. Also found that door-bell wasn't working after the job was done and had to phone up. Turned out the electrician had left two fuse switches in the off position”

“Called at 11.45 am 19th April, both jobs done by 3.45pm same day - one quite tricky, had fooled previous plumber. Outstanding job at reasonable price. Will certainly use again. Would recommend to anyone.Paperwork also very competent.”

“I called the switchboard and was helped straight away by a very sympathetic receptionist who listened to my queries and booked an engineer to come visit my property within the hour. They are competitively priced, honest and efficient. The plumber that arrived was brilliant, fast and very informative. I would use them again and recommend them highly.”

“I am delighted with the efficiency and friendliness of the this company. The work was carried out in a thorough and clear manner. The electrician explained what needed to be done and why. The electrician worked very hard and was at all times obliging. The admin team I dealt with via telephone provided a very accurate quotation and communicated well via telephone and email. Overall, I think this company has given a very good account of itself”

“Basic capping of fire carried out. Didn't need the whole hour (ended up only the half hour) but it was a same day appointment so very happy. Everything was safety checked and cleaned up after finishing. Even helped with how to take out the actual fire. Recommended.”

“had a problem with a boiler needing repairing. As it wasn't an urgent job I've tried to find a local plumber, but I've ended sending emails and calling up 3-4 diferent guys without ever hearing back from them. The experience I had with PGA Services was fortunatelly different. The call center was very efficient, they've sent out a plumber on the same next day, kept me posted with updates regarding the ordered parts, etc. Although quite expensive (the list price of the needed parts was ridiculous, especially for a cheap boiler), the job was done professional, quick and efficient. A pleasant experience after all, so I would recommend them without doubt. 2 weeks later I also got a fidelity card from them offering 10% off labour on next jobs across all available trades. A nice touch, I would say.”

“I called them up because I spotted a rodent in my flat. Their service is amazing: they sent someone round the same afternoon that I called. Unfortunately, at the end of the visit, I realised that I ended up paying £107 for someone to analyze the droppings, tell me it was not a rat (thankfully), place some food poison on the floor and leave, all in 15 minutes. I actually believed that by calling an exterminator in, I'd be immediately free of the rodent. So, even though their office admin is impressive and efficient, and the man they sent out very charming, just go to the internet and read about rodents, then go to the store, buy a trap and wait. The end result will be the same and you'll be £107 richer for it.”
