I have been attending Gymboree with my son for around 2 months now and he enjoys the sessions. I like that the sessions are relaxed and children aren't forced to join in with the guided activities. I am pleased to see a difference within his physical development over the weeks as he has become more confident with climbing and balancing. My only negative would be the prices of the sessions and how short it is, I feel for the money it could be extended to an hour as we attend other groups which aren't as expensive and are on for a longer period of time.

Classes were full of fun and had different themes. Communication about classes/payment could have been better. I also feel classes could have started more promptly. Classes often ended up nearer 30 mins instead of 40.

Me & baby have a lot of fun at Gymboree, We really enjoy ourselves. My only fault would be that we pay ££ for 1 session with a member of staff a week and the session is only 45 minutes too. The staff are wonderful and can not fault them at all! X

Great variety of classes at Gymboree Chiswick, esp. love that there's flexibility in which classes to take your child each week. The classes themselves are very interactive and uses many colorful and exciting props that are engaging to both child and parent. In addition, there's a flexible make-up class policy, allowing you to easily change your plans according to your child's health reason or schedule issuses. One issue I have is that though there are may classes for below 3 years old, there aren't many specifically for above 3. There are classes offered that lump 0 to 5 years olds, but I feel that the levels btw the children are too different, so would love it if there are more classes just for an older age group!

Classes are great. All of the teachers are fab. The only issue I have is paying for classes during the holidays when your normal schedule isn’t running. Customers should be asked what they prefer to do. I had to pay for two sessions at Christmas and I’m still yet to use those catch up classes it’s really hard when you work to fit them in. Therefore we should not be charged if classes are not running as normal

I really enjoyed the Gymboree baby sensory classes with my little boy when he was under 6 months. The classes were great and the staff were really friendly. I loved the flexibility that you could change which day you went or go several times a week which was really handy, especially with a newborn. However we ended up leaving gymboree after he moved up to the next class. This was partly because I felt the value for money wasn’t as satisfactory- the price went up which would have been fine, however the amount of classes you could go to also changed and you can only do one class a week. I had enjoyed being able to go twice a week (or more if I fancied getting out with my son), so this change really put me off. I felt the unlimited newborn classes set Gymboree apart from other baby classes in the area and I would be interested in signing up again if the other classes were also unlimited. I also found the structure of the next level (I think was Level 2?) class to be not quite as good as the newborn classes. A large part of the session involved taking the toddlers over to the foam play area or the wooden bridge and sometimes there wasn’t enough room for all the babies which could sometimes make me feel a bit awkward waiting at the edge for space to include my baby. I think the structure of these could have been improved, or maybe the class could have been split into two play areas (so less babies on the equipment) and then switched over.

My son and I thoroughly enjoy attending the Chiswick Gymboree branch several times a week. The staff are extremely professional and welcoming. They endeavour to build a sound relationship with both children and parents/carers. The activities at Gymboree have aided my son’s development and it is evident that he has learnt many new skills.

Gymboree at Chiswick is a nice activity for little ones. The staff are amazing, particularly Maggi, who goes above and beyond with all the babies. I have 5 month old twins and they adore her. The setting of the town hall is beautiful however as it is an old building, creating some negatives, particularly the steep stairs to go up to the playroom and very poor baby changing facilities. There is also nowhere to breastfeed or take a moment between the classes. Overall, I would recommend the baby classes here based on the experienced, friendly staff.

Instructors are excellent, very dedicated and kind. My son loves attending his sports class and follows with enthusiasm. The facilities are good, except for the access with buggies which is not ideal. I am not happy about when a regular class gets cancelled due to the celebration of a different event, and considering the play event is scheduled at the time of the regular sports class, I think boys who are regular members and attend that time slot should have priority by default and not be left out if there are no spots. But otherwise my two kids love it and we are pleased that they look forward to attending the class.

Dear all My daughter enjoys her time at Gymboree, following almost all the activities and having fun and interaction with other babies. Emily and Aaron are excellent professionals and always on the spot to play with her and trying to instruct her and help her follow the classes. However I would like to say that as a mother and a customer I am not satisfied to the fullest. I believe that when you are working with babies you should expect that they might not always follow your instructions. You can make an observation with a gentle way and if they still don’t follow it’s because they don’t have yet the capability of understanding. In such a case, I would expect to speak to the mother who should pass the required information to the baby. This is not happening always and by everyone. In addition, I have noticed that you have reduced the classes and open play days and hours, also a number of days per month are reduced due to weddings or parties but the membership cost remains the same which is not fair, making the classes less cost effective. I am trying to be totally honest to you by writing the above and I hope to see some changes for the best. Kind Regards Roumpa Angelica Charouk

We really enjoy the classes but the equipment and the way it's arranged sometimes is not always safe for younger children so I do feel I need to be extra alert when watching my little one.

We’ve loved attending Gymboree, from baby sensory to the open gym it’s kept us entertained whilst on maternity leave and also given us great ideas to do at home too.

I like the classes although more variation would be good. Main complaint is very expensive would like to be able to book on ad hoc basis ie per class. I booked 5 class pass which I liked but would not book again as too pricey to commit that many classes. The occasional class at that price is ok and would do that.

I’ve been taking my 4 month old baby to the sensory group for about a month now. He can be Bit unsure around strangers so I wasn’t sure if he would like it, but he absolutely loves it! He’s always really Engaged and excited during the class! The staff are very enthusiastic and friendly and I like the fact that there is a café upstairs, but you can also Bring your own food or breastfeed babies. The only thing that would make it better is if they changed the theme for the baby sensory class every week instead of every two weeks, but the little one doesn’t mind!

My girls were members at Gymboree St Albans for 2 years and really enjoyed it. The combination of classes and gaining confidence on the equipment in free play sessions really brought on their physical development, and the smaller environment felt safer than a play centre. Would recommend.

This place makes my daughter happy and she loves the songs and the gymbo clown souch it has been a huge part of our play and learn time. I also love the no poorly baby policies, I've stopped going to other classes because my daughter would catch a bug after whereas at gymboree there have been few if any of those incidents. I think the place just needs a clean up and revamp.

My son loves going to Gymboree!!! All the teachers at Islington are great. They really take the time to make sure every child is involved and are always there to give helpful pointers. I have knocked a star off my rating for the venue: 1) there is a lot of dirt in-between the mats and my son keeps either putting his hands down the crack of the mats or his mouth. 2) the venue is too far for quite a number of mums that live in south Islington. The trip takes about an hour. Please open another branch closer to Angel. :-)

Overall, good, although I don’t think it’s particularly good value in terms of cost. The staff at Islington are lovely (I don’t know all of them but Jenny and Amy are particularly great). The facilities are good too and my baby really enjoys the classes. I prefer the structured sections - songs etc - to the going off and trying stuff bits (sorry - not sure how to define this part of the class!), because sometimes there isn’t enough room for the babies to get on slides or climb into things etc and I end up just standing around.

We had a wonderful experience with owner and manager Nicole. Not only does she have an angelica l voice, her baby classes also hit the right balance between guided play and baby led exploration. She also took genuine interest in what was going on with babies at any given point and made great suggestions without imposing opinion. Four stars instead of five because our experience wasn't as good with other group leaders. Singing voice not as good, interaction with babies was too loud and hectic and overall atmosphere just not as good. The location as such is really nice - we might return when our wee one is a bit older.
