It is a happy place and my son loves it. He has gone up to level 5 which I think he perhaps should have done a while ago. I would have liked some guidance in this as I have had before. I do worry about the hard wooden parts of the equipment and would love to see some efforts made into trying to soften the hard corners that can (and occasionally) cause some really unpleasant bumps. The new staff seem to have settled in well and I'm so pleased.

Seeing my little one happy at Gymboree has made me happy.

Great indoor facilities for them to explore and play. Open gym is especially invaluable for filling the odd hour or two. Most of the teachers are excellent (though some could be a little more tuneful!).

Gymboree Leamington used to be 5-stars but has dropped down to 4-stars. The class content is excellent and the programme for each age group is very suitable for their level of development. However, during the class, many of the parents just chat with each other and while a few members of Gymboree staff can control this, most of them fail to ask these parents to be quiet and therefore the chat disrupts the class for everyone else. The classes are also, more often than not, now starting late by 5-10 minutes. Also, the classes are getting busier so the shoe changing area is starting to feel cramped and the ability to schedule a make-up class is limited. Furthermore, there are fewer ‘free gym’ hours than before and they are often at unusable times (lunchtime and teatime). I used to have no hesitation about recommending Gymboree to others but it has recently started to become a victim of its own success and is losing some of the magic that used to make it outstanding.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We'd love you to email headoffice@gymboreeclasses.co.uk with some more detail about the class you attend and which day. The branch would really like to address the issues you raise and it would be really helpful to know the day of the week and the class, thanks so much, Susannah
The staff at Gymboree have made us so welcome, they have engaged my 2 yr old son so well and got to know his character. He really enjoys the pictures and story introducing the theme and the imaginary play. I’d love to see his balance and co-ordination a bit more challenged, but the music element has helped his sense of rhythm and ability to join in with a song/rhythm. I have also noticed he is much more confident at jumping now. Thank you for your hard work, enthusiasm and sense of fun every week!

Gave my energetic son an outlet for his desire to climb and test his physical capabilities without me worrying about him getting hurt. I think it’s really important that he explores his abilities and limitations in this kind of setting. The themes of the sessions, particularly now in level 4 (e.g. up/down, in/out) are a great idea to enhance language development.

Love it, and myself and my son have shared many happy classes together! Wish we could continue but now he’s two he’s bored and we can’t make the next level classes. Wish there were more activities/time focused on props like balls and other toys. Seems like they only get 2 mins to play with them then they get taken away. More challenges involving the props would be good too.

My 6 1/2 month old baby loves Gymboree! We have been to other sensory classes and he has never seemed that interested, when we are Gymboree he concentrates on whatever Sue has or whatever song she is singing. He is constantly smiling, giggling and wanting the props that are used. Sue is also amazing, she is really friendly, always asking how Max is and genuinely taking an interest in not only him but both of us. I can also not fault the rest of the Gymboree team, whenever we have had a query or emailed in regards to sessions they have responded promptly. Out of all the classes we have attnend Gymboree will be one we will definitely continue until Max is too old!

I have been taking my daughter to gymboree Solihull since she was 5months old. She (and I) have loved every minute of it. The baby class was particularly good and we enjoy the flexibility of make up sessions .

Our regular class is engaging and my child enjoys tackling the different apparatus each week. The teacher interacts with the children and seems to genuinely enjoy their role. We have been attending for around 18 months and my child has definitely learnt lots of skills from the classes. There have been a few occasions where the class standard has been disappointing but this has been either when I've attended a catch up class or when the regular teacher has been absent.

Jacob loves the freedom to crawl around and climb in a safe environment. The ladies who run the classes are kind and genuinely seem to love children and their jobs.

I enjoy watching Bea learn to listen to the teacher and engage positively with the activities. The equipment is well designed and arranged imaginatively. The staff friendly . I must say that the lead wrong of the sessions is variable and this makes a difference to how well Bea engages with the activities.

love the instructors and vibes at gymboree. my only complaint is that it is very easy for germs to spread- my daughter has become very ill right after an afternoon at gymboree on 2 occasions already. Perhaps sterilize the toys & equipment more often & make sure to tell parents not to bring sick children to gymboree.

My son has been to many classes but he took to Gymboree so well and loved it from Day 1 which was rare for him. All the employees are so cheerful and friendly. The cafe is great and is a great escape for both mum and child!

Everyone there is friendly and approachable and makes you feel like they know you (or at least your child). The class I attend is sometimes a bit too full and starts later than intended occasionally which is why this is not a 5 star rating.
