I booked a session today with my 2 year old daughter and I even received a confirmation email, however when I got to Gymboree it was closed for the day. Why did no one notify me instead of me heading out in the rain. I phoned their number and could not leave a message as the mail box was full. This is terrible service!

We have celebrated my little girl’s 5th Birthday last December. Those special for us day we arrived, everything was well prepared and ready for a BIG Party!!! It was extremely warm and colourful and welcoming and bright and…I wouldn’t stop telling how amazing Our party was!!! Leanne and Michele organised Fabulous -full of fun, games, bubbles, songs, dances- Party!!! It was non-stop entertainment for children all the time we have spent there. Everyone (even parents) were involved in everything that was happening there. I still hear from the parents here and then how great the party was and how much fun our children have had there I just want to say a BIG THANK you to Leanne and Michele for organisation and being a part of our Big Day! Thank you!!! P.S. Highly recommended!!!

Gymboree at Islington is wonderful. I've been taking my granddaughter there for nearly two years and have gone to a range of classes. The staff are very friendly and teach every session with enthusiasm and professionalism, making sure the pace is right so that children always have fun whilst they learn. My granddaughter can be quite shy and sometimes prefers to watch but when get home, she loves to sing, dance, make music and just generally repeat or act out the things she's learned. It's a real joy to watch! Thank you Gymboree teachers - you have such a positive effect on young children's learning and development.

We cancelled our membership because the manager, Pav was awful and unpleasant to speak to. I don't want my child around her.

This place is absolutely appalling and overpriced. Luckily my child didn’t attend for long, but the time that we were there was hell on earth and left us depressed. They two ladies (Claire and Emily) there do nothing to try and help or engage children that might have difficulties fitting in or enjoying themselves. Instead they did the same as all the other white mums there and left us feeling likes aliens. It’s a shame they don’t understand about inclusivity. On our last session there, my child was particularly unhappy and I only felt embarrassed because of the dirty looks the other mums, Claire and Emily were giving. On one occasion my child was hesitant to return a toy ball (which I would’ve done regardless) but Emily just gritted her teeth and rolled her eyes at us. Definitely never saw them treating any of the others this way. Keep your money and find a kind inclusive club.

Gymboree at Chiswick is a nice activity for little ones. The staff are amazing, particularly Maggi, who goes above and beyond with all the babies. I have 5 month old twins and they adore her. The setting of the town hall is beautiful however as it is an old building, creating some negatives, particularly the steep stairs to go up to the playroom and very poor baby changing facilities. There is also nowhere to breastfeed or take a moment between the classes. Overall, I would recommend the baby classes here based on the experienced, friendly staff.

We celebrated my son’s second birthday at Gymboree. It was a great party. We had over 40 people and I was worried that we might not be able to fit in but in fact, it didn’t feel crowded at all. Kids had plenty of space to run around and use the different slides and climbing bars etc. They also enjoyed different activities such as disco time, bubbles and parachute. The venue provides pretty much everything apart from food but this is of course expected and reasonable. They set up everything. I had a themed party so I chose to bring my own party decorations but the team still helped with the set up and they did most of the cleaning. They were smiley and wanted to do what we wanted to do. I really appreciated them checking small details with us. (Such as when to start the playtime or when to cut the cake or where to put a decoration) so I would to thank them very much!

My little one absolutely loves going to Gymboree, she is only 11m old but will get excited at home if I tell her we are going to Gymboree. The teachers are always very friendly and energetic. I've met some nice local mum's through gymboree too!

Some Gymboree Play & Music branches might be better than others, however from the beginning my experience with the staff at Gymboree St Albans branch has been little disappointing. The same applies to the quality of some of the classes they have on offer. I don't believe that add that much value to babies/toddlers development but are a way for parents to socialise with other parents. Your child is either social and happy or it isn't. Few times I have not been informed about classes being cancelled and having travelled there purposely for those classes I felt pushed into attending other classes happening at similar time, which were not beneficial for my child. This is an expensive and not effective way to use your membership/money! The rules of the membership are not flexible at all. Staff is stand-offish and not consumer focused. Also you cant use your membership in other Gymboree affiliates in different locations. If you have a chance to ask other mothers for their honest, confidential opinion, you will notice its not very different to mine

I've been attending Gymboree in Edinburgh with my son since he was 9 months old. He's now 3 and a half. The classes are amazing, and the activities brilliantly tailored for each level. He has thrived at Gymboree growing in confidence very time we attend. Nicole who runs most of the classes, is warm, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and organised, making every child feel welcome and included. The layout of the building also helps to make every parent feel relaxed (especially new parents) - parking, members, lounge for coats and bags, snack room, baby changing, toilets a baby room and no stairs or lifts. And as parents are encouraged to stay for coffee afterwards, it has been a very sociable experience for me too, and I have made some great friends. I cannot recommend Gymboree enough!

My daughter has been coming to the Gymboree Solihull for a few months. It is definitely the best play group we’ve ever been to. Everyone is so lovely and accommodating. We decided to host her bday party there and it was an absolute success. My daughter and all her friends (and even the adults) loved it. Was very impressed with the whole two hours. Special shout out and thanks to Amelia for hosting. Thank you Solihull branch!

Aimee who I’m guessing is the franchise owner and manager as she the one that’s always is at Gymboree when we go or call up, is brilliant and we love going to see her and her classes! She provides a brilliant knowledge of the classes, stage of development of the children and who the adults are. She’s always has a smile on her face and talks to all her customers! Talking to other parents and carers around the area all talk highly of Aimee when you mention Gymboree! Aimee is Gymboree! Aimee is supported by three other members of staff. We’ve been to their classes which are good but my little one just loves Aimee and her classes! My little is more engaged in her classes!

Hi Amy, Thank you so much for your lovely review - we are so glad you and your son enjoyed the party and continue to enjoy our classes, too! We are thrilled you would recommend us - thank you! Team Gymbo x
My son is 15 months old and has been coming to Gymboree since we moved to St. Albans when he was 6 months old. The classes are so engaging for him since they utilize both music and physical play. His confidence has grown so much and he gets so excited when we turn the corner and he sees the sign! The staff is amazing, always kind and professional while keeping friendly relationships with families. Truly a wonderful experience!

I love Gymboree St Albans. I’ve been bringing my daughter since she was 9 months and she’s 20 months now. The progression of classes is perfect for her and she really enjoys her time at Gymboree - guarantee a nap straight after! The themed Christmas, Halloween etc classes are brilliant and we’ve also had an NCT party at Gymboree which was amazing. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I have attended Gymboree Tunbridge wells since Jan 2021 and we have loved every moment of it! The teachers we’ve had over the year, Cat and Sophie are just amazing and my daughter adores them so much! They are not only your teachers but a lovely support when those early years are just too much sometimes! The classes are always, without fail, fun and engaging and the children love them! We love the flexibility of make up classes and open gyms, it ticks all the boxes! We have made some lifelong friends through classes at Gymboree and for that we are so thankful. Thank you 🙏

Our daughter absolutely loves Gymboree at Tunbridge Wells. She has been attending since she was under a year old. The staff is professional, caring and they always have a smile on their faces. As an Early years practitioner, I can see the positive outcome that their lessons bring to the children. They learn many important basics which will help them in their future. We normally attend a lesson during the week and then an open gym session on Saturdays. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the equipment with her cousins who are of different ages. Their customer service is great, if you need to get in touch you can email the ladies as they respond really quickly. We also use an app to book open gym sessions or missed classes and rebook them. The value for what you pay is really good. Gymboree is not the typical playgroup where your kids go around and play with toys, there are dedicated professionals who deliver a lesson and you have to pay for these like if you were paying for a tennis lesson, or a swimming one. Thank you to Lucy, Cat, Sophie and Jilly for your phenomenal work.

I've been visiting Gymboree in Milngavie with my daughter for over 2 years and we absolutely love it. The staff are excellent and have done everything they can over the last year to keep classes going in a safe and fun environment when many other activities were unavailable.
