“I’ve been using Gruum products for a number of years and highly recommend their products. I use their hair products and find them excellent, especially for travel. I also use the sunscreen and moisturiser, great natural products that work.”

“Tried the sun lotion it’s brilliant not tried dont yet and lip balm but if it’s like the lotion it will be fab”

“I find the face wash perfect it’s gentle and not too perfumed. I also like the body wash that too is gentle and although scented it is pleasant and refreshing.”

“I like your products very much, however there are a few things that bother me. One is an aluminium content in your deodorants and other is camphor and eucalyptus oil in Melting Cleansing Balm, which makes my eyes irritated. Why don’t you make sensitive version without these ingredients?”

In regard to aluminium in deodorants, we use Aluminium Chlorohydrate, which is approved by leading health authorities and has been widely studied for many years. Research shows it is considered safe for everyday use, and only a very small amount is absorbed through the skin. If you’d like to read more, we’ve also written about this here: https://www.gruum.com/the-truth-about-aluminium-chlorohydrate/ Regarding the camphor and eucalyptus oil in the Melting Cleansing Balm, we’re sorry to hear this has caused irritation for your eyes. These ingredients are included for their cleansing and refreshing properties, but we do understand they may not suit everyone, particularly those with sensitivities. “Excellent shampoo bars for silly sensitive skin. I have eczema & cannot use liquid shampoos as I end up with a severely itchy scalp & flaky skin. I used to use friendly shampoo bars but sadly became allergic to those too. I now use the grum bars & for the last couple of years my scalp is as good as it can be! Can’t fault delivery or packaging, no plastics & quick. Thanks ☺️”
