Not for women, they are too wide, E fit I would say. The tongue is moving about even with shoelaces threaded through it. Too soft for walking shoes,a funny void in the middle of sole, not enough contact with the ground. Although no blisters or sores after a day trip. When driving wide sole catching on neighbouring pedal.

Purchased same size as some walking shoes (Exmoor-which are really comfortable) but while I liked these they were too short with my toe almost hitting the end. A previous purchase in another style (phoenix)was also far too narrow and also came up short. There seems to be a lot of inconsistency between styles in Grisport. Return processed with no hassle. Its a pity that there are not more physical stores selling this brand where one could try various sizes on.

I have been a very good supporter of Grisport Products and have purchased several types of their shoes in tha past and have been impressed by their comfort and waterproof qualities. However, I recently purchased a pair of their Motion Olive Shoes which were shown as waterproof just prior to going on holiday. I tried them on and they fitted well, as normal, so thought no more about anything. Whilst on holiday and whilst wearing the shoes I happened to spill some water onto the top of the shoe and straight away it felt as though the water had gone through to my socks but just put it down to the water being cold. When I got back to my digs and inspected the shoes more carefully I noticed that the Tongue of the shoe was not connected along the insides of the shoe, only at the bottom hence any water hitting the shoe lace holes or onto the tongue would have direct access to my feet!! Once I returned home I contacted Grisport Customer Services about this fact and said that it stated theses shoes were waterproof but how could this be so when water could enter so easily and none of my other shoes tongues were only just connected at the bottom but all the way up to the top of the shoe body. They stated that the shoe material was waterproof but unless it states in the Product summary that it has a Bellows Tongue then the tongue is only connected at the bottom! I stated that I felt this is a little ambiguouse as this problem makes the shoe not fully waterproof. They agreed that it could be made clearer in the product summary and they would contact their head office to see about getting the Product summary updated.. I am not holding my breath that this will ever happen but I learnt a valuable lesson to check their write ups more closely. Due to their stance on only changing items that have not been worn they refused to exchange the shoes so I am left with a pair of shoes which in my opinion are not fit for purpose. This experiance has really damaged my confidence in Grisport and will be very careful if I ever decide to purchase any items from them in the future!

The shoes are nice but hurt my feet by bottom lace strap holder digging in. Main issue is toes sweating the shoes do not breathe well

The boots are my third pair and they are very comfortable and a good grip but not 100% waterproof. They leak at the stitches which is a shame

I have made many puchases of walking shoes from Grisport and on the whole have been very satisfied with the product and service however my last 2 purchases have proved problematic. I am a regular size 45, the most recent purchase was a pair of walking boots in size 45 however these are too small for me, I have worn them for a day so have not tried to return them. I will not be ordering mail order footwear again and will purchase from a retailer where I can try on before purchase.

I love my Grisport Hurricanes but recently ordered a supposedly lighter weight pair of boots for an upcoming adventure. Unfortunately the description was most inaccurate and they were in fact heavier not lighter. I had to return them at my own expense. I was disappointed that Grisport had not taken more care in ensuring that the quoted weight was correct. Better not to give anything at all then it is the customer’s decision to take a chance, than to mislead.

The product is fine. The ordering prices was confusing and resulted in costing me £4 to return the second set of insoles which I did not order. I could have ordered from Amazon directly but thought I would use the Grisport website as I know Amazon charge the supplier. So I went onto the G website and ordered the insoles. I was then given a choice of paying which directed me to Amazon pay. The Amazon website required me to order again. The goods from Amazon arrived in a timely manner. Then some days later I received a notification from the post office to say I would be getting my order on such a date. I sent a note to say I did not want the item. Some days later the second set of insoles arrived. I was duly charged £12 for them. I spoke to the customer service at Grisport and made it clear that I expected a full refund of £12 as it was their strange ordering system that caused the problem. The man I spoke to was not apologetic or particularly interested in my problem. The refund came through some days later and I was taken aback to find that it was only £8. I had not been warned about this reduction. I had used the supplied return label which was about £2.50. I decided that it was not worth my time or emotions to argue about it. I had influenced my respect for Grisport and my commitment to buying from them again. In fact I bought my wellingtons for walking a week later from another company.

Grisport boots and other products are outstanding. What let's the company down is the time taken to process refunds.

Love the boots, I have had 3 pairs plus a pair of walking shoes. My recent purchase unfortunately arrived without the free accessory pack and despite contacting via email I have had no reply.

Nice looking boots unfortunately the right boot when worn rubs on the top of my big toe causing it to bleed. The left fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I am trying to bed them in but does not comply to wear straight out of the box as company states.

The service and delivery were first class, however the boots are not. After 2 months, I can only wear the boots if I loosely tie the right boot, otherwise, it's agony on my ankle bone, where there's a seam. Pity, as it's my third pair.

I like the boots. It’s a slightly different colour to what I saw when I ordered. My biggest issue is the vibran sole. It isn’t the most grippy of materials. Already experienced some dangerous slips on rocks. I’m not sure why this material is used for walking boots that will inevitably cross surfaces. Traction is just one aspect of need. IMO.

The shoes that arrived initially were comfortable but were damaged. The replacements are fantastic however the customer service was disappointing. There was no return label in the initial package and getting a response regarding problems via email was impossible without raising a new complaint. There was no apology offered. In addition, there was no reply to the customer service telephone line on numerous occasions. Communication left much to be desired. To sum up, the shoes are great but the customer service was not

I wanted to purchase amens shoes but every style I wanted had no availability for size 43. What is the point of advertising availability only to find stuff you want is unavailable. Not a happy, normally loyal customer. At least let us reserve products for later delivery at the price advertised.

Apex brown boots seem ok for price. They have mismatched laces, left boot has very short lace can just about tie a small bow. Right lace is fine. Disappointed quality control did not spot this. I now need to buy some laces. I emailed company no reply.
