“Love the boots, I have had 3 pairs plus a pair of walking shoes. My recent purchase unfortunately arrived without the free accessory pack and despite contacting via email I have had no reply.”

“Nice looking boots unfortunately the right boot when worn rubs on the top of my big toe causing it to bleed. The left fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I am trying to bed them in but does not comply to wear straight out of the box as company states.”

“The service and delivery were first class, however the boots are not. After 2 months, I can only wear the boots if I loosely tie the right boot, otherwise, it's agony on my ankle bone, where there's a seam. Pity, as it's my third pair.”

“I like the boots. It’s a slightly different colour to what I saw when I ordered. My biggest issue is the vibran sole. It isn’t the most grippy of materials. Already experienced some dangerous slips on rocks. I’m not sure why this material is used for walking boots that will inevitably cross surfaces. Traction is just one aspect of need. IMO.”

“The shoes that arrived initially were comfortable but were damaged. The replacements are fantastic however the customer service was disappointing. There was no return label in the initial package and getting a response regarding problems via email was impossible without raising a new complaint. There was no apology offered. In addition, there was no reply to the customer service telephone line on numerous occasions. Communication left much to be desired. To sum up, the shoes are great but the customer service was not”

“Boots arrived with a complimentary package, boots were faulty so returned with package awaiting replacement boots etc to be sent to me. Received replacement boots, which are perfect but no accessory pack. Phoned, sent an email but still no accessory pack!!”

“I wanted to purchase amens shoes but every style I wanted had no availability for size 43. What is the point of advertising availability only to find stuff you want is unavailable. Not a happy, normally loyal customer. At least let us reserve products for later delivery at the price advertised.”

“Apex brown boots seem ok for price. They have mismatched laces, left boot has very short lace can just about tie a small bow. Right lace is fine. Disappointed quality control did not spot this. I now need to buy some laces. I emailed company no reply.”

“The walking boots are great - but there is a problem with customer service: my boots were supposed to come with extras (boot bag, laces, etc.) — but some were missing and customer service have been completely ignoring my attempts to contact them to rectify.”

“I bought peaklander boots in my normal size- they were enormous and I returned them and replaced with Everest, the first time I wore them in wet conditions both boots leaked. Grisport offered a refund or exchange. They were comfortable, and very roomy in the toe part, but not the most comfortable boots I’ve had as the soles were hard and I could feel stones etc underneath. They will probably be ok as a second pair but I will look at getting another brand as my main boots.”

“I bought these shoes as they had an excellent rating for comfort and also had a good tread on them.However I didn't find them at all comfortable when I first tried them on. I almost returned them, but decided to pursivere with them. The tip of the tongue kept digging into me and had to stop walking and try and readjust them on numerous occasions. After walking with them for several weeks they are now much more comfortable.”

“I bought a pair of Grisport Army patrol boots about six years ago they have served me well. The uppers are still fine as I'm particular in my waxing and polishing. The only reason I haven't been using them is that I've worn the sole down at an angel. It was giving me a bad ankle. I was in pressed by my dad boots. I purchased a new pair of Grisport walking boots. As they were under the heading of no breaking in necessarily. I walk my dog every day on quite long walks in our countryside. I find now as my feet starts to sweat the heel guards rake the backs of my heels giving me some big blisters. I've tried different socks. But nothing seems to work. You can feel where the heel support system is rubbing. As I said I've had these boots about a month now,. I use them every day, and I'm still having problems with them. The rest of the boots seems to be OK. Must admit I thought they would have broken in by now. I'm disappointed with them. It's a shame. As my old pair were great.”

“Unfortunately the boots I ordered were the wrong size. I could only find that out by going on a walk with them. I cleaned them up and sent them back but as they had been worn once they could not be refunded or replaced. I have a suggestion: personally I would be very happy to buy a pair of 'nearly new' boots at a discounted price, especially if that meant that I could get a partial refund if I needed to return a pair that I had only worn once. If Grisport did that, they would get 5 stars from me.”

“Returned Aztec crazy horse widefit boots back as they were to tight and to small. Refund minus the postage charge.Shame they do not stock half sizes as next size up is to big decided not to purchase any further boots as would take to long to find a pair that fits properly and need them quickly Quality was good thou”

“Usual comfort fit and smooth leather After two wears the soles are showing signs of wear I do walk a lot and on London pavement which is hard on shoes, but it seems a bit previous to have wear. The shoes have a slightly flappy feel about them whether this will change over time is another matter. Middle of the road is about it”
