“Initial impressions were OK - smart, lightweight, good grip and comfortable out of the box. Unfortunately, after 20 months of only light use on short local walks and occasional longer hikes, and after following all the instructions for cleaning and conditioning the uppers, both boots now leak. Very disappointed!”

“I've had 4 boots from Grisport the last pair with extra wide 44size . They seemed smaller than normal so I had to return. I will return to grisport I've been more than happy in the past .”

“Unfortunately even though I ordered a wide fit boot these just crippled me. I’m sure that the boots will fit ‘normal’ people without bunions and they look pretty good.”

“Had a few pairs of grisport over the years now. Quality is declining in them. Last pair I just ordered were returned , as were a second pair. I am a size 7. Ordered a 7 and my toes were touching the end, without even thick socks. Ordered an 8 and they were way too big. Something has happened with their sizing as it’s never previously been a problem.”

“I ordered a pair of boots but they were out of stock. I chose a different model but they were too small and I sent them back. The bigger size was out of stock and I was sent a full refund. I will not order from Grisport again.”

“My wife bought a pair of Peaklander boots, made in Italy, a year ago. They have been excellent, and so I bought myself a pair recently. They are no longer made in Italy, country of origin unspecified, the leather appears thinner and after just 3 walks the top of the boot is creasing noticably indicating an area of weakness where the leather is likely to split before too long. The photo compares my new boots with my wife's smaller boots. The boots are at least waterproof and comfortable.”

“Dear Sirs, I ordered a pair of hiking shoes and a accessory pack, when the order arrived the shoes are great but the flask was missing from the pack, there was only the socks and laces.”

“They are well made, but incredible hard under foot with no cushioning. It means I feel aches and pains in my legs and shoulders/neck very quickly. I've added soft inlays, but they barely make a difference. A big shame.”

“These are not what I would describe as a wide fit. The design of these boots, is such that they dig in to the top of the foot, making them very uncomfortable”

“Sixteen days on and I still haven't received my purchased shoes. I assume they are being held up in Customs, but since they left the UK, I haven't received any tracking information. These foreign purchases used to work, but now they don't.”

“Although very pleased with comfort and fit of my Trident boots, was very disappointed when caught out in the rain, on short grass, in a very short time, my feet were soaking.”

“I expected a waterproof boot, but very quickly mine leaked when walking through grass with a heavy dew for an hour or so. I like the boots and am trying waterproofing sprays etc to see if that solves the problem and keeps my feet dry.”

“I chose Grisport based on other reviews for their comfort but unfortunately and sadly I have found the Lady Wolf Teal Trekking Boots to be rather uncomfortable and can only wear them for about an hour before my feet start to ache, not ideal when out for the day! :(”

“Seems to be an issue with padding at the rear of the shoe, it is much thinner than my previous walking shoes which were great. As a result of this I got a blister for the firsty time in a long time of using Grisport Boots & Shoes. I'll probably have to look around for some of a higher quality”
