No where near wide enough even though they are advertised as wide fit.

Terrible experience. Boots were received damaged - there were numerous small scuffs, a small hole in the side of the sole, one deep scratch (about 3 inches long) and an actual CUT in the leather. Customer services didn't seem to care and their responses were defensive and mostly unhelpful. I quote "Boots received in this condition are generally isolated, even if you think they are not." Made me feel very unimportant as a customer, despite me explaining this was my first experience with them and I had deliberately chosen to go direct to Grisport.

I had to return my shoes as they were too big. However, I found customer service very poor. I was not kept upto date with the return process. I was expecting them to exchange as asked but they just refunded me without any communication whatsoever. I only noticed when the money was returned to my account..

Great product only let down by customer service , who are more concerned with new business as oposed to dealing with customers who have spent their money and have an issue.

I have never before ordered walking boots online so I was a bit apprehensive to say the least. But I was reassured by the fact of being able to try them at home and return them if unsuitable. Since buying them I have walked about 150 miles over all sorts of terrain and they have been far better than expected, very comfortable and easy to clean. Since writing the above I have been walking in rain and am very disapointed to find the insides of the boots were very wet. This in spite of the label on the outside saying 'waterproof.

I bought size 12 hiking shoes and boots as I have done on many occasions from grisport. Both gave me pains under the arch of my foot and across my metatarsals. These boots are too narrow and have no side flex. A disappointing purchase. I now have berghaus.

I was very disappointed with these shoes; I went for a walk and 3 minute run, total 20 minutes, and my feet were soaked… I thought you were a ‘Which’ recommended retailer but to call the shoes waterproof was certainly not true. I do also another pair of leather Grisport upright walking 🚶‍♂️ shoes who are great and waterproof. Thank you. Dirk

After purchasing many many shoes, walking boots and walking shoes over the years I'm now boycotting this brand and will never buy or recommend the company again. Reason, appauling customer service, following a problem with a pair of walking shoes which I bought for my wife. I accept that it took her 13 months to get around to using them but when the fabric eyelets kept breaking one after the other everytime they were worn. My wife contected the company and despite the subsequent admission from the company that this was not an isolated occurance we were told they are out of warranty, get them repaired at your own expense, Shocking response!

After a number of purchases over many years I had one pair of walking boots split open after just over a year of normal use. Because it was more than 1 year there has been no interest in addressing what is a clear shortfall to reasonable expectations. Simon

Probably the worst customer service I have come across. Received the wrong size boots, requested the correct size on the returns paperwork and in a direct email to Customer Service. Received the wrong size again. Returned and asked to know how much would be refunded, again to Customer Service department. No reply. Received an email saying the order would be refunded. Asked how much the refund would be. No reply. Received an email saying the order had been refunded. Asked how much the refund was. No reply.

I had a pair of boots from Grisport but they now need replacement. As I loved them so much, I went on and ordered a new pair in the same size. They were unfortunatelly a size too small. No worries, the exchange process was really smooth. However, the new pair was a size too big. It is really annoying as the first pair was just so perfect. The customer service was really quick and easy, but I still need to find a new pair of boots from a different company

Bought boots 5 weeks ago. Very pleased. Comfy, good fit, warm and dry. Today the right boot split at the seam on the inside Not good for a boot 5 weeks old. Very disapointed. Interesting to see what Grisports response is ??

Unfortunately this will not be a good review. Purchased boots in December. Cleaned and treated regularly as i di a lot of walking. Within 3 months the boots have split on top surface. The split goes right through so they now leak. Not what I expected. I think I'll stick to Berghaus next time.

I returned my 10 year old granddaughter's walking shoes as they were too small, however, they somehow managed to leave the box en route back to Grisport. Customer Services advised they were not securely packed and they would not refund the cost of them or replace for a larger size. I fail to understand how the free gift, socks and other small items were still in the returned parcel ???? After several emails I eventually was advised that a refund had been processed for £1.50 !!!! I had also purchased a cleaning brush for £4 which was returned to them so the £1.50 does not even cover that cost, all in all I am £71.50 down and my granddaughter has no birthday present, as my pension income is not enough to buy her another pair. Disgusting Customer Service.
