“Good service and a decent quality, well priced walking and a true to size fit with a nice wide toebox. I wish I could have given 4.5 stars, as the only gripes were minor. The footed insert is low quality, but easily replaced. The freebies weren't that great (socks over warm for thin socks, and laces too short), but hey, they were free.”

“The phone answering could be improved. I phoned the number on the website and my first call wasn't answered at all. The 2nd attempt was answered as though it was an internal call. I had to explain I was a potential customer phoning for advice. However the person I spoke to did have the knowledge to discuss the most appropriate style for me. The boots arrived promptly. I had been nervous about buying without trying on (hence my phone call) and fit perfectly (LadyGlide), and they are very comfortable. Would have preferred to have paid slightly less and not received a complimentary towel which will never be used. Laces should be longer, I found them hard to tie up with a double bow, maybe they are appropriate for smaller sizes. A spare pair of laces came with the boots, presumably they are the same insufficient length. The complimentary socks seem good quality but I haven't used them yet.”

“Bought a pair of Dartmoor walking shoes. Very comfortable and feeling sturdy. As was my previous pair. Not impressed by the courier, after 3 different notices shoes eventually arrived.”

“Recently purchased Fuse walking boots. They are very comfortable and no issues with breaking them in. I have had them a couple of months and so far so good - time will be the test and hence a four star review.”

“Sturdy boots, slightly harder than I expected. I also found that I should have got wider boots because it turns out my right foot was snugger and I ended up with a sore foot on my first walk. Have worn thinner socks since then and things are better now. Haven’t really tested the waterproofness.”

“Securely packaged and delivered swiftly. The package contained a free gift of hat, socks and laces with which I was delighted.. The boots themselves are comfortable and am pleased with the fit. I did take a star off as, to me, the colour wasn't grey, but mushroom. This is a neutral colour which will go with anything so I didn't mind.”

“Comfortable hiking boots apart from the sides which I am finding rubs against my leg just a bit higher up from my ankle. That bit of the boot is quite hard but I am hoping it will give in time.”

“I needed a new pair of Wellington's and thought the Grisport ones would be good value. The order process was simple and they arrived quickly. Sadly I did have to return them as they were not wide enough for my feet. But the quality and design were good. Also the return and refund process was again faultless. I will definitely use them again and my wife is considering buying a pair for herself.”

“The grisport aztec boot felt comfortable on first fitting. I have now done a few walks and found them great on slippery and rugged terrain. They are very comfortable in the foot all day but on one foot the tongue rubs a bit anterior ankle. Nothing a bit of padding won't fix.”

“Like the walking shoes comfortable from the box. Didn't like the very thin laces, replaced them with my spare walking boot laces.”
