“Overall boots were of good quality. I was particularly looking for numback leather boots with slip resistant sole. The shape of the sole was very close to my previous boots which were very good on slippery surfaces like on ice, wet and oily tiles etc but these boots were not good on slippery surfaces and I was not able to find one step smaller size in these boots. If It was possible to get size 39 in these boots I was able to compromise on its loose grip on slippery surfaces. I hope my comment will help company to think about making slip resistant boots for size 39 in men. Many thanks”

“I have owned 4 pairs of Grisports excellent Ranger boots and need to renew. On the net I discovered several reputable sites offering these boots substantially cheaper, by as much as £20 so I contacted Grisport and said that I would like to continue to buy direct from them and continue to support their business. Also, on the Grisport website I found a pair of boots that looked identical to the Rangers called decoy and that were substantially cheaper than the Rangers so I emailed and received the following reply "Hi, Yes, they are practically the same boot. Decoy is Dark Brown though. Ranger has the better lining which adds to the cost but the lining in Decoy is more than adequate. Kind regards Gavin" With this information I ordered a pair of Decoys. Faults: Firstly, I would have expected Grisport to at least offer to match the prices advertised elsewhere of their boots and secondly the Decoy boots are not the same, the Ranger is a wide fit and the Decoy is not.”

“Very prompt delivery of shoes from Grisport. Delivery company came at the time they told me. Another pair of Grisport shoes. The last lot I had for over 15 years and wore them often. Sadly the soles gave out and became porous. They are always very comfortable from the outset.”

“Walking shoes and boots always wide enough for my very wide feet, only one thing with latest Walking shoes purchased is the laces, difficult to get them on because I can't adjust them enough as they aren't tie up style, getting better though”

“I bought a pair of Timber Trek boots recently they feel tough and strong like the Dartmoor shoes that I have been wearing. My walking boots that I have had for a few years now (not Grisport) are getting to the end of their life and I was looking for a new pair. There many makes on the market but taking price and quality into consideration I chose Grisport and haven't regretted the decision.”

“Great walking shoe. Generous size. Pick your usual shoe size and it gives you sufficient flexibility for a walking sock. Very comfortable and good supportive sole. Wore them for hiking straight away. No problems. Can recommend.”

“These are not comfortable boots and definitely not the 'straight from box' comfort that they describe themselves as. I went for a walk and it felt as if there was a sharp rod sticking into my toe the entire time. I was very disappointed.”

“I have achilles tendinitis and have struggled to find a pair of boots which protect it and are comfortable. My Grisport boots have done the job. My ankle and heel are well supported even over the rockies terrain. Would highly recommend them, worth every penny.”

“I took prompt delivery of Grisport Lady Hurricane ankle boots in brown and in my usual size 40. They are extremely comfortable and totally waterproof. The boots came with the added bonus of a pair of socks, a water bottle and a spare pair of laces. I am very pleased with this purchase.”
