“I bought a pair of 1977 walking shoes. They were on offer and a great price for a quality shoe. They arrived quickly in two days. My only criticism is. The laces are very thin and I find them a tight fit on the right shoe. I have a different Grisport shoe and this is the same. I am a size 44 but can't order a bigger size as the left shoe would be to big. For this reason I have only given a 4 star rating.”

“I can't fault the Grisport Peaklander boots. I take a size 7 and the ladies size 40 fitted perfectly. So comfy they're like wearing slippers! Good solid boots, but not at all heavy and excellent grip on the soles.”

“I bought my boots for £65 directly from Grisport. The same boots In other outlets were £30 dearer! They are good,sturdy boots and they look nice on. So fa they are waterproof too! The inner soles are a little hard so I may swap them for a different one. I have quite wide feet and these boots accommodate my feet nicely.”

“Just bought the wide fit boot and they are perfect and a great fit. I’ve tried loads of so called wide fit boots and they just weren’t wide enough. Very minimal miles needed to break them in and then walked up scafell Pike no issues at all. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a wide fitting boot.”

“The boots were extremely light and seemed flexible, but wearing them for a wee great for short walks but for personally I would not wear them for long distances as just not that soft and comfortable.”

“I usually have walking shoes in brown leather but these are a welcome change, especially if you want something that looks a bit like a trainer. You could wear them respectably with trousers in the evening if you were going to the pub- so a good compromise if you have limited baggage. Really comfortable as soon as you put them on and they are not heavy.”

“Over the years I have bought several pairs of walking shoes, two pairs of walking boots and a couple of pairs of Grisport Comfort shoes. I am a great fan of Grisport as their products are of great quality and their prices reasonable - so unusually good value for money. One thing that amazes me is how comfortable the footwear is. I took a brand new, pair of walking shoes on holiday to Andalusia, where we did a lot of walking over all sorts of terrain. They were perfectly comfortable from the start. "Breaking in" doesn't ever seem to be an issue with the products I have bought from Grisport. On top of that, ordering is very easy and the products come promptly, usually with some bonus "goodies" like a water bottle or a pair of socks, laces etc. Cannot recommend Grisport highly enough.”

“This is my third pair of Dartmoor GTX walking shoes. They are very good shoes and I find they last a long time with heavy use. The only weak point is the insoles. On the first 2 pairs I had to change them after a couple of months, as they either rotated in the shoe, or moved backwards up the heal in use.”
