“Instructions were horrendous i have had to email multiple times for help , I still think we are a piece of glass missing . I would be looking for compensation for all of the hassle and stress caused by wrong Instructions”

“Very pleased with Vitavia Venus 5000 6’ x 8’. It was delivered on time giving me plenty of time and remnders. Thanks to Ian for his help and understanding I had about installation which was my fault. All was sorted with Garden Building Services (Dan & Naomi) and was lucky to get a cancellation and was fitted quickly to a very high standard. Excellent service by all.”

“We purchased a Vitavia 8x6 Black Venus 5000 greenhouse with horticultural glass . I am no builder but found it perfectly doable to assemble with very careful attention to the instructions/illustrations . Does need a good 2 days and I found the glass quite a challenge but was doing it all alone . End result stylish and really doing the job well . Make sure to get the extras for airflow .”

“The greenhouse itself is great and I love it, now that it’s built. The installation and instructions though, were not so great. Some of the instructions arrived water damaged, some of the number stickers had fallen off the parts and we had load of spare parts for different greenhouse setups which added to the confusion. Getting the glass in was nice and easy though.”

If you’d like to add this, we can still supply the part — just let us know and we’ll arrange it for you. “Greenhouse was fine but picked up a piece of glass and it broke straight away,they wouldn’t replace it as it was delivered ok but must have had a fault in it ,cost me £63 to replace”

“Delivery and greenhouse all good so far? The only thing is I believe they give you poor assembly instructions so you are tempted to use their guys for fitting ? I am in the construction industry and still made mistakes in the assembly”

Thanks for the feedback — and I completely understand where you’re coming from. Just to clarify, the assembly instructions aren’t actually produced by us; they come directly from the manufacturers. We don’t make them deliberately complicated, and we agree they could be clearer. We’re already in active discussions with all of our manufacturers to get these simplified and laid out in a more logical way.
