“The green house came on time. Took our time doing the assembly. Here are some improvements I would Personally recommend to help future clients. I would prefer a stronger bottom framework to make it easier to keep Square. instructions for the fitting the seals around the glass could be clearer.”

A stronger bottom framework is exactly why we recommend using the Vitavia base plinth with this model — it provides a rigid, level platform that keeps the greenhouse perfectly square during assembly. Without the plinth, the frame relies entirely on the customer’s own foundation, which can make squaring more difficult. Your note about the glazing seal instructions is also helpful, and we’ll pass that on to the manufacturer for future improvements. “Generally good experience building the greenhouse except for fixing the plastic glazing as it lacked the same level of rigidity as glass. I have recently purchased a polycarbonate Marlon ST material by Brett Martin on another project which offers better rigidity.”

The flexibility you noticed is the natural trade‑off with polycarbonate — it’s never going to have the same rigidity as glass, even though it offers great impact resistance and insulation. “Great service! Everyone was really helpful when I rang to discuss the sizes etc.. Delivery was swift and all parts in order! We decided to ‘self build’ which.. was not easy! But.. the instructions were very clear and ours is the 12 x 8 so it’s quite a size. I would definitely recommend and actually a few friends have said they will buy one next year. Thank You. “Insructions to build difficult to understand . Glass panels at least 4 broken/cracked on opening packaging .”
