“Great purchase. Super delivery as arranged and very well handled. The only criticism is that the vents fall out easily when opening so we will need to secure them.”

“Very difficult to put together as instruction are very poor. One pane has already smashed after 2 days which i pais extra for toughened glass. Looks nice once up but not sure how long it will last.”

“We were looking for some shelving for our greenhouse. It's funny how garden centred don't sell extras. Of course I thought my husband wanted the wooden slat type of shelving, but when he saw yours, that's just what he wanted. We have had our greenhouse over 30 years. Now we are both retired spending more time growing our own from seed. Thank you, as they say up north, jobs a good one.”

“My Vitavia greenhouse was delivered very promptly and was well packaged. The greenhouse itself seems to be well made and is going together (about to attach base to concrete plinth and start the glazing) to form what appears to be a solid structure. It is effectively meccano on steroids. However the instructions are poor. I am a very competent diy'er and I have and continue to struggle at times. The little diagrams do not provide enough detail and there needs to be more of them from different angles. A narrative would also help immensely. I currently have 3 parts, luckily not key to the structure, which I can't work out how they are attached. I am currently struggling with how the vents attach to the roof ridge beam. Some videos would also help. Perhaps this is more of a negative against Vitavia rather than Greenhouse Stores however if you are going to retail a product you should ensure that the customer can actually deal with it.”

“From placing the order to arriving cannot Fault the service no issues with the unpacking And. Assembly of my 6x4 greenhouse.did notice in reviews that instructions could be better But having assembled greenhouses before got round that and the greenhouse is great looking as well as it’s practical use which is why I bought it having seen a few before opting for this one”

Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear you ran into difficulties, but we do want to mention that we haven’t had any contact from you at any stage about missing parts or anything not fitting. If you had reached out, we could have helped right away. Regarding the glass, the only reason it wouldn’t fit a Vitavia greenhouse is if the frame isn’t completely square. We’ve checked your order, and you didn’t choose the base plinth option — this normally lifts the greenhouse off the ground and keeps the frame rigid and perfectly aligned. Without it, it’s much easier for the frame to go slightly out of square during assembly, which can make glazing more difficult. If you still need any advice or support, we’re always happy to help.

“We found Greenhouse Stores to be very good. The delivery came on time and the driver was very helpful. The greenhouse we ordered was on sale for a very good price and manufactured to a good standard. We put the greenhouse up ourselves and we're able to follow the instructions and diagrams pretty well. All in all we are very pleased.”

“We bought a green lean to greenhouse, 8’ by 4’. It’s a beauty. I love it. It isn’t the simplest of greenhouses to put together but with attention to the instructions, both written and diagrammatical, you will be able to construct it. The first thing is to make sure that the base is level and square. If you are sloppy with this, the glass won’t fit into the frame properly. To make it square, not only should opposite sides be the same length but so should the diagonals. You can purchase a base (which is what I did) but remember that the corners the provide aren’t true right angles so you must measure as described. If you are unsure about creating a level, square base, get someone who knows what they are doing to do it. I did a fair bit of redoing’ as I was learning on the job. All the sides need to be vertical. Make use of a spirit level. Once everything is square, the glass goes in easily. I chose toughened glass which came in large sheets so it made glazing quicker and easier. If you like Meccano, you’ll love it. I am really pleased with the end result.”

Your advert states in stock, I have been offered staging but I really do regret shopping with you, very disappointed as this was a birthday gift, not to mention you have had my money all this time.”

We do need to mention that we were completely unaware the greenhouse hadn’t been delivered — we hadn’t received any contact from you about a missing delivery, and if we had known earlier, we would have stepped in straight away. We’re now chasing this with Vitavia to confirm exactly where things stand and why the date has moved to the 10th of September.
