“We have been extremely impressed with this greenhouse. In hindsight, maybe we should have got it built for us but that was the exciting part! We spent a few days making sure the ground was levelled and solid before building - level soil, covered in aggregate and stone slabs. Make sure this is level and holes for the base are dug properly and don't cut corners - this made the erection of the greenhouse so simple and the glass all fit perfectly. It is now strong, robust and full of plants with lovely fruits and vegetables!”

“Ordered a Vitavia Greenhouse with delivery of 1 to 6 weeks. No problem ordering. Received confirmation from Greenhouse Stores immediately. Then the wait began as we heard noting from Vitavia. We called Greenhouse Stores only to be directed to Vitavia who do not give out phone numbers - everything is done by email. All we wanted was an update on delivery so we could be assured everything was going to plan. Got a standard email saying we will be contacted when the greenhouse was ready for delivery. Eventually, in week 8 we did take delivery of the greenhouse but we got no warning it was coming and could have been away for the weekend! WHile none of this is done by Greenhouse Stores, they could have been more proactive on behalf of their customers by taking a phonecall or by encouraging their supplier to be more responsive. The greenhouse itself is great. The one piece of broken glass was exchanged quickly.”

“Love my greenhouse! Looks really good in my garden everyone admires the design. It was a really good price and was safely packaged no breakages of frame and glass. Every item listed was included. It took 3 helpers to erect it. The yards and yards of rubber seal took hours to press onto the frame. I bought a plastic tool with a wheel to help but went back to pressing with fingers and thumb and eventually got the knack of doing it. I bought a louvre opening and also an automatic window at the same time. Both these additional purchases improved the temperature regulation. Communication was excellent from the moment of ordering. The delivery was carefully executed he was able to lay the flat boxes on the back garden lawn. I give the whole ordering purchase delivery 5* Thank you all”

“The experience was mixed. The greenhouse itself (Elite) is an excellent piece of engineering, and we are now benefitting from it. We would unreservedly recommend it. But the organisation and management of the order was chaotic - wrong parts delivered, some parts missing, slow response in sorting this out. The person we liaised with at Greenhouse Stores was himself extremely helpful, and did what he could to sort out the problems. In the end, he did manage to get the right parts to us. But the chaos seemed to erupt somewhere in the relationship between Greenhouse Stores and Elite Greenhouses. In short, we would recommend Elite, and on the whole would recommend Greenhouse Stores, but we would advise any customer to insist on a full specification of the greenhouse parts before dispatch and we would advice cross-checking every part immediately upon delivery.”

“Good quality growhouse (instructions are somewhat challenging but I'm sure they could put coloured dots or arrow heads on components to guide as to which way up or around they should go). Did have a build problem and in all fairness they requested photos and resolved the issue on line. Really pleased with the finished result. I've bolted mine on to an old hot trolley and now have a mobile greenhouse. Pictures below.”
