“Nice greenhouse, good price but parts were missing which contributed to huge delays. Paid for it to be fitted as part of the sale and that service was extremely poor. The fitter ( polite but questionably competent) - never did more than 4 hrs at a time although he did come back once a week over at least six weeks. The initial base he laid was too small and uneven, so began weeks of delays and excuses. It wasn’t an easy job but the whole process was very stressful and left us in a mess for far longer than we’d expected. There are still a couple of missing parts but we ran out of energy to bother to chase. We were disappointed not to be asked for a review at the time, the fitter had said there would be an after-care call but we didn’t receive one. Not sure where the responsibility for that lies.”

We genuinely appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about the missing parts and the delays during your installation process. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you’ve paid for fitting services. Just a quick note on the base, our installation service does not include laying a base so we are assuming that you had a third party lay a base? We do state minimum base dimensions on the website to make sure that customers have all of the information required. This will have caused an initial delay as the installation team will have allocated your booking slot, but being unable to make a start would have meant a missed day for them. Due to the installers having an already busy schedule at this time of year, they will try and get back to customers as soon as they can. Regarding the missing parts, its very rare that we do have an issue but sometimes it does happen and we will be taking it up with that particular manufacturer. “There was a good selection, and ordering was easy (including requesting someone to come and put it up for us). I was a bit unclear when my greenhouse was supposed to arrive, and it does take some time. But arrive it did, and a cheerful bunch of guys put it up for us. And it's a lovely greenhouse.”

“I purchased a Vitavia 6x10 (check the small print it is bigger than that!) I also purchased glazing bar capping and a number of other add ons. However the other add ons don't work terribly well when using the capping so a number of mods required. I would recommen checking although I suspect no-one has thought it through! After widening my base, doing a few adaptions now a loveley Greenhouse! Also the delivery driver (solo) was unwell and only just capable off moving the kit a small distance, I had just had Covid and was suffering after effects - right team!”

“Greenhouse people were very helpful, sadly the base wasn't available which caused a delay to the order of around 6 weeks. The delivery driver was nice and friendly and everything was unloaded in a careful manner and all was checked off and inspected. I'm really pleased with the greenhouse. It's everything it should be.”

“I have had such a positive experience dealing with Ian of Greenhouse Stores. I was not quite the customer from hell, but I seemed to be continuously asking Ian for advice, changing my mind, doub;e-checking on things. “It has taken 12 weeks from purchase and we are awaiting a company to come and erect it. If you live in Scotland you have to wait until there is enough work in the area before they will attend. I spent a lot of time and effort to get an installation date when I should have been using my greenhouse for summer bedding plants. They delivered the greenhouse and I stored it in my workshop. Thank goodness it was dry or the cardboard packages would have been in a sorry state. I can't comment on the quality and erection as it is due to be installed a week on Friday”
