“The greenhouse was delivered on time by a consciencious driver to my bungalow which has restricted access. He was cheerful and prepared to unload all on his own. The glass parcels are very heavy. I found the greenhouse difficult to erect and it took a few days to do with help from a builder friend but it was better than paying £600 to have the supplier do it. The finished result is good but I still have not worked out to to fit the door correctly, Got some good support and advice from Greenhouse Stores.”

“Greenhouse is brilliant. Although the instructions could be tweaked as had to strip and reassemble some parts as instructions were a bit unclear. I built mine on a wood sleeper base (T1 sleepers) and used a baton all round to help fix onto wood. All in all i would recommend this greenhouse to anyone as it is sturdy and looks great. Vitavia 5000, brilliant for the price overall. Many thanks.”

“Superb product, good quality and very good prices. Poor instructions but lay it all out first and then its clearer, long time for delivery but worth the wait. Base is worth it but gutter pack is way over priced and not worth having.”

“Greenhouse is fine I assembled it myself and it took quite some time. The instructions I found were quite difficult to follow and lacked smaller detail. It would be a lot easier to fit with another person and I realise that is your recommendation but I had no one available.”

Thank you for your review, and well done for assembling the greenhouse on your own — it’s definitely a job that goes more smoothly with two people, so you did brilliantly tackling it solo. Looking at your images, we really would have advised adding the Vitavia base plinth. The plinth lifts the greenhouse off the ground, keeps the frame rigid, and ensures the door runs properly. Without it, the structure relies entirely on the customer’s own foundation, and you may find issues later on — especially with door alignment or frame movement over time. We hope the greenhouse serves you well, and if you ever need any advice or support, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

“Long wait due to it came from China. A the aluminium is a bit thin so thankfully I ordered the tempered glass to give it some structural weight. I think Im going to drill and bolt it down also as I accitently bash the lawmower into and it flext. Strong winds are a concern for the coming winter in Scotland. Instructions were a bit of a challenge to understand. 3 varients instructions. Delivery driver friendly enough afer his long drive.”

Every single unit is delivered directly from the Vitavia UK warehouse in Ipswich. The longer delivery time was due to your order being placed during peak season, and because it contains glass it must go on a dedicated glass‑safe delivery run rather than standard transport. We would always recommend toughened glass for locations that are even slightly windy, so you absolutely made the right choice—especially with the Scottish weather. Bolting the greenhouse down is also a sensible step if you’re concerned about strong winds or accidental knocks. Regarding the instructions, Vitavia include multiple variants depending on model and glazing type, and we appreciate they can sometimes be a challenge. If you ever need guidance, you can contact us at any time and we’re always happy to help. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope you enjoy your greenhouse for many seasons ahead.

“I would recommend this product. Delivery was on time, the instructions were satisfactory and it was straight forward to build. The quality exceeded my expectations and the final result is everything I hoped for. Genuinely can’t fault it! “Service was poor in my opinion, zero delay in taking my payment and from then on, minimal delivery updates. Having spent over 40 plus years in the Engineering industry I have found the assembly instructions totally confusing to the point the ' greenhouse' is currently still residing in parts on my garage floor, why, oh why, try to cram instructions for numerous variations and sizes of greenhouse configurations onto one document. Must do better, unlikely I would use in future or recommend to others. That said this is a quality product being let down by penny pinching.”

“I’m delighted with my olive green greenhouse which blends in with the garden really well. On advice from a friend I ordered 2 automatic vents which work perfectly. Staff on the phone at every stage were helpful with my enquiries and delivery came as promised. Construction looked complicated but the end product is very solid and looks smart.”
