“No sign of ladybird hatching”

“Delivery of nomatodes was quick, just a matter of days. Spread them immediately, perfect conditions, light rain, same next day, all of it on my small garden. Impossible to tell if it's made a difference, still loads of snails eating anything fresh and green, beans, sunflowers and thankfully drowning in beer pits.”

“Ladybird larvae were sent efficiently & promptly. However it is worth noting they are evidently newly hatched. Ants presumably got all of mine...”

“I ordered some ladybird larvae from you which were dispatched 29th June and received on 4th July. 21 out of fifty were still alive. So far, I can see no improvement in the pest problem, possibly due to the 21 survivors not being enough and in too poor a condition to have much effect. The postal system in this area has been very unreliable since the lockdown and I realise that this is beyond your control.”

“Had to wait a few too many weeks for order to arrive. Don’t know if the Nemaslug works as it’s too soon to tell. I do need to apply it again but it’s expensive and it took too long.”

“Usually excellent. Unfortunately recently I bought 100 ladybird larvae, but they took so long to arrive that when they did they were all dead except one. I made Green Gardener aware of this but they never got back to me. I paid £17.50 for a single ladybird larva. I realise that Covid 19 had a serious impact on deliveries but not to get back to me after 5 weeks is inexcusable.”

“When I ordered a Acer from the picture shown the plant was much smaller than the one I got . Will need a couple of years to grow to size advertised”

“I bought 2 Bee Houses. They were alright but needed some easy way of hanging them . Your name made me expect you really cared about all things Environmental,so I was horrified to discover they were made in China . Please indicate on all your goods if this is so. Surely you can acquire British made. Cheaper from China is not a good enough reason were you to answer this.”

“The ordering process was fine, but the box I received definitely didn't have 100 ladybird larvae. After a week in the release bag, only 5 live ladybirds emerged.”

“I can't fault the service but the Slug and Snail Traps plus bait do not work. Not a single slug has been lured into the traps and, when I put three snails in there to test the claim that the creatures can't escape, they climbed out and wandered back to my lettuce. What a waste of money. The copper bands, on the other hand, are brilliant.”

“Bee "hotel" came very quickly but package was bashed in the post and the hinged roof was torn off. Managed to fix it using larger screws rather than bother to send it back. Bees not interested so far - much prefer the old one in the garden! Marked down because of damage, although I realise that this wasn't your fault.”

“The product took a long time to arrive but may be because of pandemic so fair enough, the material of the product was supposed to be infused with copper to deter slugs but it doesn't look like it contains any copper, and slugs have still got to some of my plants, so can't be convinced that they work.”

“Received 25 adult ladybirds all looking healthy. Sadly I found 3 dead within the space of the day and by next day, I couldn't see one. I only have a yarden - small space - so I expected to come across a couple but they must've all down away. Sad 😔”
