“I ordered 100 ladybird larvae, which arrived after a couple of days, packed appropriately. The larvae were much too young in my opinion to be dispatched, some very very tiny, just hatched, some still as eggs. Although I put them all in the provided bag, to climb out at their own time, it seems that their chances of survival would be quite small. I am disappointed as they are not cheap, and in the past, I had received "better quality" ones.”

“Delivered in good time. Problem was that one of the large bags of seed was ripped and a lot of seed was in the cardboard box. Could only have happened during packing.”

“Trying to get rid of codling moth leaving nasty little surprises in my apples. Nemasys Fruit and Veg protection arrived but as I put things in quarantine (Covid) for 3 days and the packaging did not say what it was it did sit in the warm ( it was hot at the time) for a few days so really hoping it will be OK. Please a label to say must go in fridge on outside of packaging to help us in these times.”

“I bought nematodes to control codling moths. I read as much from the website and as I could before I bought and thought I was ordering enough for 2 sprays for 4 trees. I read that Sept/ Oct were optimum time to spray, 2 weeks between spraying. I was disappointed when nematodes arrived mid Sept to have a use by date 29th Sept. That didn’t allow for the recommended fortnight between spraying. Furthermore I had misunderstood quantities and bought enough for 32 trees! That said, the test will be if it diminishes codling moth which I will not know until next year. The instructions were easy to follow and easy to apply. It was only the information on the website which I found poor.”

“Disappointed that the minute you bought it you can’t cancel the order any more. Even if it’s done but mistake .delivery dropped the mesh even didn’t have a chance to refuse the delivery.”

“I ordered a frog house but when it arrived (extremely well packaged) I noticed it had a flaw in the casting right at the front. Its a really a quality issue and the manufacturer shouldn't have supplied it to the reseller. I raised the issue and was given an instant discount, which was a kind offer. So 'Green Gardener' are good, but be careful with this product.”

“Fast delivery and well packaged. Product claimed to contain 50 ladybird larvae but there were more like 20... Unfortunately they didnt eat my thrips either. Wouldnt buy again.”

“Order arrived in a reasonable time, the actual goods (outdoor fly trap + wasp trap) are very plasticky and dont appear to be that durable, Im not sure how long they will last.”

“Nemadtodes and rose for watering can to distribute on lawn. Not used yet due to dry weather but keen to see how this gold plated rose (well at least because it is hard to justify the price otherwise) performs!”

“An excellent site with a range of biological controls for various pests on offer. Some of them work some of them appear totally ineffective like the lacewing larva which have to effect at all on aphid populations. Ladybirds do certainly help control aphids and nematodes seem pretty effective against slugs. The key with biological controls is probably to act early once a pest gets a grip biological controls will not work.”
