“The applicator did not work and was a waste of money. The level of the product in the applicator did not change at all - followed all instructions-and I ended up applying the nematodes by watering can. The whole process took a long time and the time taken to try the applicator may well have led to some of the nematodes dying.”

“Very disappointed by the box moth trap. It has not caught any moths but my box plants have been attacked by box moth caterpillars. I have moved it to see if that helped but still, no moths are being caught. Also, the pheromone cage just sits in the top of the trap and has been blown out of the trap I have resorted to taping it in. Not worth the high price.”

“The sprayer I ordered looks to be ok but it was no thanks to its packaging. The attachments show its state when delivered. I have not used it yet to see if it is working correctly.”

“The pack of nematodes for fungus flies is too big for an average household. Totals over 30 litres. The sticky fly papers that were said to go with the nematodes do not appear to be catching any flies. Disappointed.”

“This arrived promptly and looks comprehensive although I haven't used it yet - that's my plan for this morning. However, I was hugely disappointed with the amount of really tough plastic in the packaging which is going to be difficult or impossible to recycle and also moulded plastic on the inside. All this could easily have been done in carboard. Considering you call yourselves the 'green gardener', this is unacceptable.”

“Nematodes seem worthwhile. Total treatment for whitefly in the glasshouse (encarsia and glue traps) very pricey and largely ineffective. Comedy value from giving yellow cards to teams of insects a redeeming feature. Seriously underwhelmed and a bit desperate.”

“Ordering and delivery were fine, so no problems there. We ordered ladybirds and ladybird larvae. Happy with the ladybirds, but the larvae were so small, we could hardly see them. We had no idea how many there were, as too difficult to count, and if they were alive or dead! We had expected them to be much larger. We placed them in the little envelopes, as instructed. Over a week later, when we inspected, there seemed to be a few larger ones that had simply died. So the larvae were not really what you'd call successful, and seemed like a waste of money. Will only order adult ladybirds in future.”

“I have been using green gardener for years for ladybird larvae for several years now and this is the first time I have been disappointed. After ordering 75 larvae,I received less than 50 alive at delivery. When I raised this the response was condescending and very disappointing, which has left a bitter taste after years of custom. I'm am left deciding whether to use green gardener again, of source from somewhere else.”

“The reason for my rating is I didn't receive goods which were expected via Royal Mail who said it was delivered 🤷‍♀️. I didn't pursue it at the time as I had covid (again). However the reason for any rating at all was that I was very impressed by the range and type of products. I'll probably try again n the future.”

“product good BUT there is no indication that it comes from China as the one next door says made in U K so you would assume the same was for the product next to it. I would not have purchased it had i known it was not made in U K”

“Happy overall although where the lid was stapled the staple was protruding and was not flush with wood. This cut my finger when removing it from the box. The chambers could be smoother, splinters can tear wings of bees that emerge from their cocoons so best to smooth these before use. Having said that I love the way that the trays are removable and I am looking forward to lots of activity later”
