“Results were 50/50 - brought ladybirds and ladybird larvae for 2 trees suffering from aphids. Followed all the instructions and worked on one (or at least think so), but the other where added most of larvae and ladybirds is worse than ever.”

“Hi, I bought earwigs and lady birds larvae a month 1/2 ago and spread them to manage an aphid invasion on various plant in the garden. I have spotted a few ladybirds but no earwigs yet. I am just wondering if it is a matter of time, if I did something wrong or if they are so small that I can't see them...”

“Poor information regarding expectations for seeing any signs of application working. How long the nematodes are active for. After watering in is more watering required. What happrns if temperature drops after applying?”

“I'm not sure really is the best answer. The service and delivery, communication, information was all excellent but I'm not convinced about the product. None of the larvae survived or grew to a size they could do anything. They were like specks of dust, almost too small to see. I sort of wish I'd kept them in a container and grown them on somehow before releasing. They cost almost £30 so I'd hoped for a bit more bang for my buck! I'd like to order again and hope I got some larvae a bit bigger this time, but I can't justify the cost again. A brilliant range of green pest control and maybe lots of other options for the future though.”

“I like your business ethic and I would wish to subscribe. I have recently taken possession of some greenfly repellant in the form of predatory insects and pupae. I hope this will prove worthwhile eventually but so far the greenfly are proliferating. I will bide my time before, hopefully, ordering from you again.”

“I've used Green Gardener a few times over the last 3 years or so. Their range is good and dispatch is pretty quick. However, they seem to send emails along the lines of "Your order has been fulfilled" even before the item has been dispatched (e.g. if you're ordered something with a future dispatch date, you still receive that email a few days after placing the order, rather than when the item has actually been dispatched or delivered). It's not a helpful email and can be quite confusing. More recently, I had to email them about an order which hadn't been dispatched on time (over a week late). I never received acknowledgement of my email, let alone an explanation. The order finally turned up and had been dispatched the previous day (i.e. they must have known it was being dispatched late) but again, there was no acknowledgement of it being dispatched late. So on the whole I'm fairly happy with the product, but customer communication needs to be improved.”

“Delivery is quite slow but that’s understandable. My issue is more that the ladybird larvae really don’t work on rose climbers or bushes. Not sure why as I follow all instructions including releasing early morning or late evening, misting the bushes to provide water, releasing the larvae directly onto affected stems as well as all over the bush. Yet 3 - 4 weeks later, no sign of the larvae and the aphids are more prominent than ever. I’ve now just resorted to manually going around and removing the aphids as the larvae approach just isn’t working. Shame.”

“Quick delivery, previous nemotodes have been great. Ordered ladybird larve and most were dead, they were less than a mm, so of the 50 in the packet, I only have one eating the aphid infestation on my indoor plant and its taking a while!”

“I ordered chafer grub treatment 29/10/2024 hoping that due to the date of order that it may be rushed through as it is not supposed to be applied after the end of October. Order never arrive until 2nd November so I am quite dissapointed with amount of time it took to arrive, it was sent through normal mail.”
