I called the company gave them my machine no - they offered to send a technican having heard the problems. He arrived angry irritable and did not even turn the machine on - just said it couldn't be mended - when I asked to call the company with him after his 3 minute visit he refused and just left - the company then did not reply to my complaint and sent threatening letters and a collection agency. This is one of the worst experiences I have had - and I've had many good ones. Never use this unpleasant and unethical company.

Very disappointed. You twice confirmed bookings. I called the engineer to try to change the first and they had no record. The same company was confirmed for the second booking and they contacted me to say they couldn’t do. I expected you to contact me with an alternative but nothing. Why on earth would you confirm bookings until you are sure of them? Won’t be using you again or recommending you to others.

Engineer was in my house for 5 minutes, informed me that the drum was buckled in my machine, gave me a long list of parts that need to be replaced. When I asked how he knew all of those parts needed replacing as he had only opened the door, he informed me that it is a standard list of parts to replace. Informed me that I would receive a quote from the office, which I did for over £1200 worth of parts with long lead times. Very much felt like, they want the call out fee of £117, then provide a ridiculous quote which they know you will not accept, brand new Miele has only cost me £900. Really felt like the engineer couldn’t get away quick enough, the only tools he brought in to my house, was the card payment machine. Would certainly not use again for any appliance.

27th January 2023 Glotech service engineer came to see hotpoint cooker and was here for approx 25 minutes. I was told that it required a new motherboard and would cost around £273. I was advised to take to an electrician who found the element was not working a £30 part available on the internet. This was replaced in 20 minutes by the electrician. Thus I was charged for the engineer's visit £93.54. £93.54 0f wasted cash and still did not get a correct diagnosis. Confused and upset that we could be treated with very poor professionalism.......

Good Morning It is disappointing to read this and wondering if you reached out in January when this occurred? Please could you email your details to repairs@glotech.com so that this can be fully investigated by the customer service team against the engineers notes and they can respond fully to your complaint - Thank you

The engineer couldn't fix it properly. He thought cleaning the filter will solve the problems. He did it and left without ensuring that machine actually should run the full cycle without any problems. Annoyingly, the next appointment to fix the same problem was given a week later. I paid nearly £81 and he thought the problem is solved in 2 min and left!

To be honest the visit of the engineer to fix our Bosch washing machine was a disappointment. To cut the story short the diagnostic was - there was no power coming into the appliance. The main power supply/socket was OK. No problem there. So indication was the main power lead is faulty. There were no visible damages to the appliance inside, no water leaks, no burning marks, nothing. Everything looked perfect. The engineer was puzzled by this. His next step would be to change the power supply cable. To me a basic item like a spare power cable should be with the engineer on his visit. I have explained in details what happened to customer services prior booking the engineer’s visit. I also gave the model details etc to the customer services. So I have done my best to help but I am left feeling cheated as payment of almost £95 was taken for nothing. The engineer wasn’t able to tell me what happened or what he things is wrong. To me this is poor service. The engineer turns up in big van and he can’t have a piece of cable on him? It doesn’t make sense to me. I was expecting high quality service for the payment I made. I expected the person to be honest with me. I’m ok to make a payment with no result of fixing the appliance but there was not enough of input in this at all from the company side. There was no possibility to get the power going in because of faulty cable so proper diagnostic couldn’t be made. Which to me means the requested job was not done properly. I’m definitely not going to recommend this services to anybody. So here you go - some constructive criticism here for you from one unsatisfied customer.

Here is the way I feel for your terrible service THIEVES? The job was awfully approached. The appliance never worked from the moment their technician said he had finished till this very moment. I guess he knew he could not get it right but wanted to rip me off, so he went ahead to break my fridge pipe to regas this at a cost. No attempt was made whatsoever for diagnostic tests as I was there watching him all the time. He never opened the inside to examine the condition of the evaporator or condenser. There were no gas leakage stains anywhere around my compressor. The regas was a ploy to take away more money in addition to the callout fee. My bankcard was billed for a job he knew quite well he could not get right and he had not gotten right. He knew I would argue this but quickly said it would take till the next morning for the fridge to cool appreciably - that long for a job finished at 1 pm? Really! What dishonesty! Anyway, it never cooled, and never would cool, he knew this. I left a message to get me refunded as I have been duped, simply put. I decided to open the evaporator chamber to examine myself; behold, this looked broken as can be seen from the photo. But our so-called expert engineer never opened this to confirm its state before ripping me off £160 - an open-day robbery. Inviting them in was like bringing a thief into one's home. These people are terrible - AVOID THEM AT ALL COST or get them to rip you off

Not a great experience I am afraid. Advertised as serving the Bognor Regis area - they have a specific landing page on their website that advertises they can carry out repairs in the Bognor Regis area. Booked appointment no trouble, nice polite team member helped on the phone. Email confirmation comes through ok. Told price estimate. So far so good. Get to appointment day and no phone call / message to confirm what time the engineer would arrive. I had assumed I would get a call at some point as mentioned in the email. This did not materialise, so after waiting in for the morning I called Glotech to find out if everything was ok. Told that they do not cover Bognor Regis and the appointment had been cancelled. No notification was received of this via phone/email/text - just me calling them to confirm. The number on the website was even a (perhaps dynamically generated) Bognor Regis local number. Why advertise and allow bookings for areas you do not serve? The people I spoke to were helpful and kind. IT/Management needs to get their s*** together and sort out the website/booking system so appointments cannot be booked in areas you supposedly do not cover and update the website to reflect that.

Made an appointment on line. Engineer did not turn up and nobody called to let me know. When I rang the agent said they had no availability for my appointment time in spite of sending me an email confirmation. Apologised for not ringing me but not good enough. Went elsewhere with a repairer I have used before and got a new appointment. Won’t use Glotech again.

I felt very let down by our experience with Glotech. The representative was in our house less than 5 minutes and charged me over £80 just to tell me our washing machine wasn’t worth fixing. I understand these things happen but my husband was clear in detailing the fault when he made the booking so they had the opportunity to be honest about it upfront and not waste our time and money.

I booked an appointment, then on the morning of the appointment received a message to say they can’t make the appointment and to call them back if we wanted another appointment. The following day workman turns up, despite me never booking the appointment as I already had someone who can do the job same day. I’m getting endless emails now telling me they are so happy they fixed my machine ….. poor When you book an appointment and take time off work for an appointment you’ve booked to be cancelled same time.. not good. Also the call out charge is about £50 too expensive in my area. Another guy has fixed my machine with parts for less than their labour charge. Shop around first

My experience with Glotech has been horrendous from the day they delivered the dishwasher. I had purchased a Gold Install Service worth £149.00 (£124 after discounts from charges adjusted from repair visit) along with the appliance purchase. They were supposed to be installing the dishwasher and removing the old one. However, on arrival the person delivering advised that the will change this to delivery only as they saw some droplets under the main kitchen sink pipe and suspected a minor leak. The delivery person advised that he will change the order to delivery only and we could go ahead and get our own tradesman to install. We got the unit installed ourselves without any issues and since then I have been chasing Glotech for refund. I called nearly 8 times over two weeks spoke with more than half a dozen people who promised me call backs that never happened. I finally wrote them an email on 27/03 stating my intention to go legal and managed to finally get in touch with them today to be advised that they wouldn't refund my money without giving a valid reason. I have asked them to give this to me in writing and will now be taking a legal recourse. They way Glotech has dealt with my issue, I highly regret doing a purchase through them and would ask the other consumers to keep this in mind if they intend to make a purchase through Glotech.

Emailed Confirming time and date. Email stated that if I don’t hear anything else the technician would turn up on that day. The time passed and no one came. I called the contractor that they had hired for the job. They had never received any request and never heard of the job.

Engineer came out to resolve a drainage issue with my washing machine, sump full of dirt which he cleaned out. 30 minutes after he left my kitchen floor flooded again, phoned to get him back, after 3 days of no response called office and told thy couldn’t get another engineer out for another 5 days. Got another company around same day and was told previous engineer hadn’t connected sump back properly and didn’t even clean it out properly. Spoke with their office about possible refund and pretty unsympathetic

Ref 1093524 i have never experienced such appalling service by any providers till date. booked an engineer to check with repair on Dishwasher. Found the fault and paid for the part In February, when the new engineer arrived to fix the same he advised us the previous engineer had broke another part whilst trying to investigate the problem. So they have now ordered that part from the supplier and it's over 4 weeks but no idea on where the part is? As per the last conversation, i have been told they have to wait to hear from the parts supplier/manufacturer till they can resolve my problem. Due to a fault of their engineer i have been without a dish washer from over 6 weeks; no idea when this will be done? no senior manager willing to take responsibility!!
