We received quite prompt service. It was rush hour and the driver had to come through urban traffic. He worked quickly and efficiently. We were very pleased with the service

The call centre was very helpful and a recovery truck arrived in 45 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon in Cardiff. The recovery firm took myself and my motorcycle home but failed to send me the receipt I required. A quick call to the GEM claim line and they informed me shortly after that they had obtained it directly by email. Within 24 hours of receiving the claim my bank account had been credited.

I have had occasion to use GEM on a few occasions over many years. I describe the services as a little more earthy than the AA, RAC etc but as long as you have your phone and the GEM card with your details with you everything is fine. When the occasion arises I always recommend GEM to other road users as it is excellent value for money.

A friend in need is a friend indeed that was GEM in my hour of need. That is the test when you need help. The whole procedure was efficient and most effective. The service was excellent. I would also like to thank Chris at Central Garage Recovery. Also Terry at Lowes 24hr recovery .Both companies in addition to GEM kept me informed and executed their task faultlessly a pleasure to have dealt with all concerned. I have recently bought a new car and will maintain my membership loyalty with GEM. Again very many thanks.

was in AA for years moved over to GEM should have switched over long time before, wife broke down 5 STAR service highly reccomend

My Son recently used your breakdown service (Joint membership) when his car failed to start whilst out shopping. He called GEM and an Agent was with him in 30 minutes & diagnosed the fault and got him started and then following him 10 miles to ensure he was ok. Excellent service and highly recommended.

I have been with GEM for several years I was attracted by the 2 for price of 1 cover so I provide breakdown cover for me an my son. I did break down on the M25 about 2 years ago on my way to Gatwick Airport for holiday. GEM Arranged recovery and the operator dropped me off at Gatwick just in time to catch my flight, the recovery operator took my car for repair to a local garage who contacted me while I was on holiday. I was pleased with the service provided by GEM and their recovery operator.

Yet I do not know the star rat but i can submit for example 5 star because my policy not start now. And any practical activities. But I can say that the person Mr Tariq jadoon who recommended me.He is very impressed and happy. Let see in the future. Good luck to us. Thanks Zahidullah Afgani

Only had to use breakdown service once in about 3 years, but found it straightforward. Have called technical help line for advice twice and found this immensely useful and the gentleman I spoke to,a mine of information. Well done!

As a new member I had the need of GEMS services on Boxing Day last year. I have nothing but praise in the way the whole call out was dealt with. From the initial call into the call centre where my details were handled very efficiently, the arrival of the breakdown truck within 30 minutes and the way in which the engineer dealt with the fault. All very good. Also the follow up phone call from the call centre completed what was a most pleasant experience. If all call outs are handled in this fashion then no complaints whatsoever.
