It is a shame for yourselves that you don't provide a renewal of membership over the bank holidays as I have now become a new member. I am £30.00 better off because of this.....

Brilliant service but giving new customers a discount over your existing loyal customers doesnt sit well and it time a loyalty discount was introduced to at least match the new customer pricing.

I love the GEM service but do find it insulting that after approx 10 years of loyal membership I always pay more than new customers. I would be fickle and cancel and rejoin but too much hassle.

Had to wait longer than told originally, but service when arrived was excellent. Solved the problem and even followed us up the road to make sure everything was ok

When my renewal was due I received polite reminders in plenty of time to let me consider my options. No telephone calls - no hassle. The cheapest deal too for a very good service.

Never used for a breakdown, but chose Gem on reputation, and the fact they covered motorcycles also offering personal cover for spouse.

Although I consider it good value it still irks me that as a member I have to pay considerably more in premiums annually than someone joining. I know that this is the norm for any kind of insurance but like a lot of people feel that existing customers should be treated fairly.I for one will be doing a bit more research before renewing next time. Many thanks for the opportunity to comment and I look forward to my 10% discount lol

Good breakdown cover and quick response times. Only down side is that when you come to renew your subscription they don't include new offers to existing customers. Don't like that!!!!

I rang to check a couple of things. It hadn't been clear if the 12 for 10 was in the final price. Then my question about the underwriter was not answered. After a silent wait, I rang again and eventually was told of the unheard of answer. I went ahead

I am approaching the end of my first year with GEM Motoring Assist. Fortunately, I have not had to call on your services. I will shortly renew my membership for a second year.

The GEM staff were very helpful at all times. I was disappointed that it took over an hour for the breakdown vehicle to arrive. I then had to ring the breakdown company twice before I received the invoice, which obviously delayed submitting my claim. Once the claim was received by GEM it was processed very quickly. Overall, no complaints about GEM but not impressed by the breakdown company

A friendly organisation that keeps you in touch by an interesting motoring magazine. Haven't used the breakdown facilities so far but have no reason to believe they not on the ball.
