“I have awarded 4 stars, as I only bought the package today. However, I am confident that experience will lead to adding a 5th star. I am impressed with the flexibility of the GEM package As a Boundless member, I have recently used Britannia breakdown cover but as they have removed the personal option, decided to give GEM a try, particularly in view of the Which? review. Also, the price was attractive, especially with the associated cash back offer.”

“Looks good so far. Bit early to see if a company is as good as you expect! Confused with the other choice (where one pays, and then claim back) Would like more info, as it mentions a claim limit in many places.”

“Not sure why Gem want a review just yet...as I've only just joined & have not had a chance to breakdown yet:-) Anyway joining was simple enough & paying a one off amount via PayPal was easy. It worked out a bit cheaper than the AA or RAC...but not by an awful lot. I suppose time will tell if/when their service is ever called for? We will see how they do then.. cheers John”

“As I had forgotten to renew my breakdown cover, for many months and escaped problems. I checked the "Which" site, and of course, GEM was a best buy!!! naturally I took the advice and renewed. How I managed to forget I cannot imagine, but it is nice to know I was correct in my choice last time, just the renewal slipped my mind. It is now permanently installed on every device, just in case.”
