Auto renewed my insurance even though I didn't set it to then charged me £75 to cancel it.

I am a very careful driver yet my score is constantly around the low 50% mark. My speed is very good rated at almost 100% yet my acceleration score is constantly near 0%. Very innacurate which will result in me recieving no discount.

Rediculous i need a box after 7 years of driving with no accidents... if anything it makes you a worse driver because your concentrating more on your driving than actually the road.

Absolutely rubbish Insurance company! Fined me £390 for not being a safe driver, without informing me of any new information about this fine. My car breaks down, ring up and if I did not send proof of car being in garage with in two days they would cancel my insurance. And doesn't matter how safely I'm driving, my score does not change, and Website doesn't show why it's not changing. Hate this company can't wait for it end so I can change. ( The cancellation fee is £400 ish)

Despite very polite customer services workers, I can only say that this company caused me a lot of unnecessary stress through poor communication, both internally and with me. When my policy was up for renewal, I spent 4 consecutive mornings on the phone just trying to get them to confirm I had 3 years no-claims, having provided proof from a previous insurer. They then offered a renewal cost which was not at all affected by the no-claims ... completely illogical and a total waste of my time. The first member of staff quoted me £390 once I had proof of 3 years no-claims, a drop of £90 from my initial quote, so I thought it worth pursuing. However, every time I spoke to a new person, no notes had been made on the account and I had to explain the same thing again. I was told conflicted information about what documentation they needed as proof of my no-claims, and (to cut a very long, frustrating story short!) was eventually told that the cost of my renewed policy was exactly the same as my last one, despite adding the no-claims. At the end of my tether, I cancelled the policy, and was then sent cancellation details with (yet again) incorrect no-claims information. I was more concerned that I had not escaped this company and had to call back again to amend this error than anything else. I dread to think how many hours I wasted trying to get something so simple done (and if I weren't a teacher on my summer holiday, I don't know how I would have sorted this with work stress on top...).

All of it is good, the money off is rewarding. The only problem I’ve experienced is the installation of the black box, the engineer caused my car to go dead because he had fitted the box onto a circuit that it shouldn’t have been. I had to pay an electrician £120 to fix my car because he swore down it wasn’t his fault even though the electrician confirmed it was. Still not had any reply from wise driving about it or my money back. It’s been 3 months now.

Terrible! Black box score makes out as if im a lunatic on the road, i drive 25mph on main roads, 20mph on 20 zones and 65 on motorways, speed is always in very poor but if i drive over the limit risking being caught by a camera, score goes up! Acceleration and braking is terrible because if you stop too soon eg emergency stop marks you down as zero! They dont hesitate in decreasing your score but when it comes to going back up thats a different story, its like its coming out of their wage its rediclious, i wouldnt reccomend this if you dont want to risk your insurance being cancelled for good driving

Renewing my policy needed me to call for an hour a day for 3 weeks, and even then was sent constant emails and saying my insurance would be cancelled, even though I was being told over the phone to ignore the emails. If you can afford to go elsewhere, do.

I was told braking and acceleration go together and I would have to be doing over 3500 revs constantly to be in the very poor for acceleration- obviously im not, however when I called it fixed itself for 5 days, this is bringing my score down so obviously im not happy as my score remains good when it could be in the excellent. The email service isn't that good however, the phone service is good. Ive only been with Wisedriving a month now but if this doesn't get fixed from other reviews I expect to see a rise in my premium which is already over 1,500 as im a young driver.

I’ve had an ongoing problem with acceleration score on my black box and all you said was it’s my driving style so I changed it and still no different to what it was before

I was due to pay my monthly isurants 144 witch i had in my account and wise driving took the money and gave it back as there wasent anough founds but defoo was then they charged me 30 on top of my amount so instead of paying 144 am paying 170

Sometimes when I come out of a junction I have to go fast which means I have to accelerate more than usual so I think that acceleration shouldn’t go against you

Getting in contact is terrible when I was trying to sort out a problem that they wanted me to sort out, then was told I had to pay an acces off 300 on top of my insurance because they told me I needed to change the car into my name but never told me I’d have to pay more for doing this when they asked me to do it
