“Been with home protect for a good few years now. I have never claimed but instead have fixed things myself as I'm old fashioned that way. We have a quirky house and everyone recommended homeprotect for that reason. They have easy to understand insurance at a reasonable price.”

“Although I am happy with the level of cover and the end price, it was frustrating to see the ‘bait and switch’ upselling techniques (low price shown on the comparison sites, but then a whole raft of options that are made to make you feel like you’ll end up with a sub-par policy if you don’t upgrade), but I guess that is standard across the board now to get the punters in. Let’s hope the service is as bulletproof as the other reviews suggest.”

“I use home protection for a few houses. I find it good value and the communication is good. I fortunately haven't had to claim anything yet, so I can't comment on this area. It is easy to find policies online, however if you have more that one policy you have to look at each house individually. Previously you could see them all and this was more user friendly.”

“This is the third year we have a house insurance with homeprotect. Till now we are happy with the price and online fill in form which is easy too do. No complaints thus far. But luckily we didn't need to report any damage or break in. Overall all is good.”
