“Easy to get unoccupied insurance at a much cheaper price than elsewhere. However, it is very basic cover.”

“Home insurance is a big market and there are lots of things needed to be taken into account. I had a claim after the big storm and had not realised that so many others were involved in the claim. It went well overall once a got the “swing of things””

“The whole process was as simple as it gets. The form/questions are very comprehensive and easy to follow. Overall a very good experience and what was a total bonus was the cost. Very competitive, giving additional features not offered at the same price and in many cases far lower.”

“I called Homeprotect to discuss insurance. I was transferred to sales but I got disconnected before anyone responded. I called again and was put on hold for 87 minutes. I called again using a different phone and was transferred to someone else who was taking my details and I got disconnected yet again. No agent returned my call. I then went onto live chat where the agent apologised and promised a £10 goodwill discount, which has yet to be received. The agents gave conflicting information. The situation made me wonder, if Homeprotect is this challenging to provide guidance and information on a policy, how would they respond to a claim? I am very disappointed in the service provided.”

“So far so good. The policy has just started and hopefully I won't need to make a claim. As previously reviewed, I had good experience purchasing insurance from AXA Homeprotect. Needed to use the Chat facility to ask questions and make some on-the-fly changes to the quote which worked really well. Saved over 20% on same quote thanks to Discounts for Teachers website as my wife is a teacher.”

“I have been a customer a few years now, this year however my policy had increased and it saddened me having never claimed on this property in over 23 years. So i called you up and asked if it was possible to make my charge, cheaper. The polite lady talked me all through my policy in detail, we tweaked a few things and it made my policy more affordable. I was very thankful for the time the lady took to explain it and nothing was too much trouble for her.”

“Pleased I have found them. Good price and great contents cover for my work from home business and they cover public liability and saved on my previous insurer. Haven’t given 5 as I can’t comment on claims process and hopefully won’t need to claim.”

“Most renewal letters come with massively hiked up prices. You have to start shopping around all over again. Not so with Homeprotect. It's renewal price wasn't a stretch.”
