things jumped in price.but when the world comes back to normal? i assume prices will fall. ps a earlier email would be nice.rather doing the acount thing not everybody has smart phones.also a one sheet with numbers and conntacts as separate in case of accident.break down.otherwise ive recomend you to quiet a lot of vintage older customers .cheers

The employee who rang me back was very helpful, and got the documents to me very quickly be email. I phoned because the app would not allow me to view my policy documents, and the web portal did not have the documents either. I think the app needs updating, and the web portal needs looking at.

App takes a long time to update your details. Had to keep calling to check things were done. But good value so far. Communication could be better

I’ve never had to have 2 phone calls and send off a full copy of my V5 document to any past insurer. It all takes time during business hours when I’m supposed to be earning money.

Hi, We are sorry if you were unhappy with our validation procedure. All purchased policies are validated by our sales support team to ensure that full cover is in place should a claim occur. We are also provided preferential rates from our panel of insurers for validating all purchased policies which are then passed onto our policyholders within their premiums. So due to this we sometimes have to request documentation to back up any conflicting details and ensure there are not discrepancies with the insurer should a claim occur. Another price hike .. disappointing all insurers are asking for much higher renewal prices with no explanation as to why!..

Hi, We apologise in regard to your renewal increase, as a broker we are only able to offer the cheapest price with the insurers we work, and always send out the cheapest we can offer with them for your renewal. We have a select panel of insurers, so we do not have access to the whole insurance market. We understand if you were able to find a cheaper policy elsewhere, if you do not wish to renew, but we appreciate the feedback and are sad to see you go as a customer. I was checking I had breakdown insurance as not showing on docs even though I specifically requested the cover. I rang up to be told that extra. I rang again as still couldn't see it only to be told that covered at no cost but documentation incorrect

I was please initial, but when my renewal became due I received an email saying “my insurer was not going to re~new my policy without any other explanation…… With this I didn’t have a choice but to go elsewhere. I got a competitive quote and signed up. Grove and Dean proceeded to charge me £900 on my credit card. Then they said I asked for a month’s extension…. I didn’t and clearly there was no reason for me to request this facility. They had the cheek to ask me to provide evidence of this ! So all in all it seems that things went very haywire? Hopefully this was a glitch for some reason and at the end of the day they are probably a very good company, but we all have to be vigilant and make sure everything is in order with any company we deal with. I now take screenshots of everything at all times. Be aware that you need to make a record of any forms you fill in on line because mostly you don’t get a copy and that needs to change,

Been insured with them for years but the price increase for my next year of car insurance was too high, phoned to query this and the attitude of the staff member I spoke to was awful. Didn’t try to keep me as a customer although I’ve been insured with this company for five years no claims. Understandably prices are increasing everywhere but I didn’t appreciate the manner in which I was spoken to. Seems they don’t actually care about customer service.

Good product - service let down by two points: 1 Didn't call me when stated they would - I had to call them 2 Documents not accurate - I had to contact them to get it corrected

Never had to make a claim so cannot comment on that aspect of company. Sent renewal notice promptly. However I did ask for a hard copy to be sent to me. Young lady said she would but never received it

Good price for the first year, but got charged more when I submitted my agreed value form, which i was told would last for three years, so thought it might be worth the extra cost. When it came to renewal, the price had gone up a bit and the underwriter changed, excess was more too. Decided to renew because I had the agreed value, only to be told afterwards that I had to submit another agreed value application because the underwriter had changed, but it would be free of charge. I submitted the forms again, same ones & information I had previously submitted and then got told I had to pay more because I hadn't previously declared the 5 speed gear box, which I obviously had when I previously sent in the forms as well as when I originally took out the first policy. Anyway, all MGB's have a five speed box, i.e. 4 forward gears and overdrive. Luckily, my policy hadn't started, so due to all the mis information and unhelpful staff, I decided to cancel the renewal, got a full refund and went elsewhere for my insurance.

Been with Grove & Dean years. This renewal though, was something else. The price and add on costs were horrendous. So, I had to do it myself even though I was ill and ended up hospitalised. I could have done without that if Grove & Dean had been reasonable.

Tracker took forever to install. Both Grove and Dean and tracker company weren't quick to resolve problem

The thing that i dislike most about the insurance is i have not been sent any paperwork about my insurance in case anything happens . Not being very tech savvy i dont like that its all done on E mails .
