It is no surprise to me that Grove & Dean followed suit in pushing people into financial turmoil with unacceptable price hikes. There was no need. At all. One of the plus points to owning a camper van was paying a lower insurance price because after all, it is generally driven a lot less than a car and is usually a persons second vehicle..... Now, it costs the same as a car to insure. With this changing world where freedom to move around is being restricted, Grove & Dean have proven they are focused on the same thing as all the rest; Profit not people.... Ultimately it will be the same everywhere, so here I am, but I hope some day to find at least one company who will freeze prices in hard times because a couple of years without profit is not a loss, its heroic.

no explanation why my insurance was tripled for no reason. I requested explanation and to look at offering me a cheaper deal, but I was totally ignored.

Very difficult to actually get in touch with a person to speak to. Waited on the phone for over 4hours at different times, attempting to contact. (Approx 45 mins per call to no avail):

Last year's insurers, Aviva, wanted to double my premium (100% increase). I settled on Grove & Dean for a 40% increase and have rated 3 stars because the value will be determined by the way they treat clients and deal with claims, etc. which remains to be seen. Needless to say I am very disappointed with the market prices increasing when I have an unblemished record going back over 20 years.

They do the job but didn't like their attitude. Unpleasant when asking, demanding, a photo of my bike in it's garage, as if they had been asking for this for weeks. Watch out for the £50 cost for every change and even to cancel during the cooling off period. Won't use them again.

When you can finally get to speak to real person the service is quite good but waiting 30 minutes to speak to an agent detracts from the good service you get when being dealt with.

Very competitive prices which was a great selling point however I have not yet interfaced with the customer service, i am also yet to see how the management of my account progresses over the year, if there are additional fees involved for minor administrative issues, hidden fees and so on, i will make my judgement at the end of the year, if all goes to plan, i look forward to being with Grove & Dean for hopefully the long run.

My car had a flat battery , but It took about half an hour to get my call answered , and over 2 hours for a break down crew to arrive to jump start it ! Very inconvenient and disappointed at response for a very simple problem, but breakdown crew were good .

They provide a decent service and have found a competitively priced policy each year, but their communication is poor. I have emailed customer services several times with no reply, and their online chat service is poor. After waiting in a queue there is no visual/audible prompt to confirm when an agent has responded then within a few minutes they cancel the chat and you need to start again. Very frustrating!

Telephone conversation with office staff I felt was not very professional. I felt there were a lot of unnecessary questions to answer which I did not have to field with other insurers. Deal with the company by both email and telephone.

We are also provided preferential rates from our panel of insurers for validating all purchased policies which are then passed onto our policyholders within their premiums. Very disappointed that my insurance when up by £34 a month. Only reason it got renewed was because I forgot to cancel it.

I have recentlY renewed my Policy with you for my Road King .However a couple ,of months ago i wanted a quote for my new Pan American .You promised to come back to me with a quote but failed to do so .As a result you lost business and i insured elsewhere .I was hoping that you would have done a multi bike policy for me but failed to do so

Would of been a five star if the fact that when my last insurance quote came up it went from around £500 to nearly £900 for the year with 9 years no claims which five of were with your company. When I did phone up to say no thank you to my new quote as it was to much there was no attempt what so ever to try and alter it in a way, just said ok that’s fine thank you and goodbye!!
