“Our tour guide Nylah absolutely MADE my trip to Thailand. She was absolutely incredible, always had good vibes and a huge smile on her face. She never failed to see the positive and was very knowledgeable when answering questions. Everyone would be very lucky to get her as a tour guide!
The tour overall was very special and I met some lifetime friends! However, I do believe GAP360 could give more insight when explaining the tour online.
The entrance fees to islands work up to a hefty price for example phi phi and Kao Sok National Park. I do think Kao Sok is hyped up to be less than it is. We had issues with cockroaches and sleeping continuously on a hard mat with a small blanket can become jarring.
I struggled with the beginning of the trip as it is very go go go, lots of early mornings and no free time.
The location of some hostels seemed to be an issue also, we were very far away from a lot of the party bits meaning we ended up paying a lot for taxis.
When planning the trip before you go, you definitely need more money than told. Eating out 3 meals a day, taxis, deposits and entry fees work out to a lot even if Thailand is cheap.
Other than that, my Thailand experience was amazing and I would love to come back!

The only criticism of the tour would be that on Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, our hostels were very far from the town centres which meant we had to constantly pay for taxis back and forth and couldn’t just walk into town if we wanted to go out. Also the additional payments for Maya Bay and Khao Sok National Park could easy have been included considering they were part of the tour and not optional extras.
Apart from that though had a great time on the tour, would definitely recommend to anyone going solo. Definitely Mr Patrick was the best guide we could have asked for!”

“I found it a little frustrating booking. Gap360 are the booking agent. The tour I booked is managed through another company. I submitted everything to the GAP360 dashboard (name, passport details, insurance details, address, emergency contacts, health information etc), only to have to resubmit it all again to the tour company after two months of originally booking. It's quite antiquated. But I am looking forward to the trip.”

“Absolutely use Gap360! Everything is planned for your you, ticking off the tourist things you definitely will want to see. Care free travelling with your guide taking you from place to place.
For the Thai Adventure I’d say a couple of things to think about:
- Small costs aren’t included in the original price but you don’t have a choice to pay. For example, entrance to an island/beach. Always have cash at hand. Would be better if these were included in the price.
- Getting from island to island was very easy but the 10 hour day commute from Koh Tao to Bangkok is a waste of a day/ last night.
- Eating out three times a day, bring closer to £800 of spending money. Withdrawing money is no issue but only the supermarkets take card payments
- Our guide Tony (Pitta) was amazing. I would have like more guidance on where to eat and touristy thing.
There’s a lot of free days on islands that are very small so you have to make your own way.”
