“The boots were fine - however the packaging was not - they were not in their original box and did not have proper care and attention that a “boot” required - inappropriate packing”

The primary purpose of the box is to protect the shoes in transit, but we still want to ensure you receive your item in the best condition. “Still awaiting prepaid postage to arrive by post so I can exchange boots for size smaller that also had scratch on one of the boots”

“I own 5 pairs of Gabor boots and unlike the others, this pair is very snug fitting, almost as if they are incorrectly sized. I would recommend sizing up. The color is gorgeous.”

“Lovely boots, but certainly not wide fitting and so did not fit. I recently bought far wider 'standard' width shoes from Primark which were slightly wider. Very disappointing. Regretably had to return.”

“I loved the quality of the shoes but was dismayed to find that though I'd paid £95 for the shoes, they came in a box marked £85.50. I have raised this with Gabor via the 'contact us' email - with no reply. Very dissapointed with this, though the shoes are lovely.”

“These knee length black leather boots looked lovely. However, I found them to be rather narrow along the foot and I could not do the zip up for the last 4 inches and my legs are not very big. Disappointed to be returning them as they’d look great with dresses and leggings/jeans.”

“Bought these shoes from Charles Clinkard in Shrewsbury. I asked if they was wide fit and the assistant insisted yes they were. Well I've wore them once and not happy with the fit .Ok in the length but hurts across where the chain sits on the outside as it's tight on one foot and rubs hard on the bone of my foot . I've had several pairs of Gabor but this pair isn't fitting like the others do .”

“These are well made boots, and with a low heel and nice dark blue suede, just what I was looking for. However they were difficult to get on, I really struggled to do up the zips. When I eventually managed to, the boots were just far too tight around the top -around my ankles. It hurt to wear them and I thought they would never be loose enough there to be comfortable on, so I returned them.”

“They’re lovely shoes but sadly a bit flat and narrow at the ‘bunion’ point so first time I wore I incurred an enormous blister on my little toe left foot. And right foot almost too roomy!”

“not sure what's happening with sizing but Gabor size 8 shoes for this as well as the Gabor diary shoes are way too tight and uncomfortable. Gabor has always been about comfort .”

“I have purchased several pairs of Gabor shoes and boots over the years and have been very pleased with them, they have been comfortable, stylish and durable. Unfortunately I haven't had the same luck with the most recent pair I purchased (Jude Ladies' ankle boots, grey suede) - they are hard and uncomfortable with thin lining, and they haven't softened with wear, very disappointed.”

They are a sturdier boot with a thicker sole and the sole may not be as flexible as others Gabor boots you have had. I do hope that in time as you wear them, they do become more comfortable for you. “I bought off line as I went into your Northallerton store and after waiting a long time and asking several staff members to help ( several were in the stock room) I walked out and ordered on line The sandals are very nice but sadly the back strap needs shortening which Timpson says is £17 :-((”

“Absolutely love the Flamboyant Ladies Ankle Boots but extremely disappointed that I have to return them. They are not a wide fit as promised. The wide fit Gabor boots I bought last year were very stylish and properly wide and I wore them every day in the winter. These are not the same width.”

You may find that a half size bigger increases the area within the shoe with very little extra length, many Gabor customers use this method and find it works well.
