I love Gabor shoes they are so comfortable. And I would highly recommend this brand to anyone I speak too, as It's all I buy now. However... My shopping experience with this company has not been great!!! I ordered two pairs of boots, one unfortunately was no longer available in my size, not a problem! My credit card was not charged, but they didn't change the final amount on my bill so when Swiss customs checked it they charged my tax on £122.16 instead of the actual amount of £67.99. This has resulted in me paying 37.90chf (£25.83) to be able to have the boots! I knew it would be this much for two pairs and was happy to pay it! But not when only one pair has been sent but the final bill has not be changed to the correct amount!!!

To date I have not received my parcel although it was suppose to be delivered a week ago. The delivery company you use - interlink express, is very incompetent. They fail to follow my instructions to leave the parcel in a safe place, they fail to leave a calling card even though they say that the card was left and they seem to ignore my emails as well. I am extremely disappointed and I will avoid this company in the future (and so should you).

Unfortunately the left shoe arrived with a lump of glue on the inside of the shoe at the front making it very uncomfortable. Most of the glue has been removed but there is still a ridge left which rubs against the toe. Quality control inspections should be more rigorous given the price charged for the shoes in my opinion

We do rigorously quality check before sending out, but something like a glue ridge might be missed if inside at the top of the shoe. Bought black gabor boots which has a buckle on the top however after wearing them 7/8 times the buckle has come away from the left boot. Tried to glue it but it does not stay in place and now just flaps around. I have had these boots about 6 weeks so too long since I ordered them from Debenhams to return them

Gabor are my favourite footwear so no problems whatsoever. However, I sent for two pairs (not sure on the size) and sent one pair back and it cost me £8.50 to return! Usually, buying online you pay for delivery which is usually under £5.00 and free returns. So for this reason I will not be sending for any more footwear.

I always buy Gabor shoes, previously from a shop, however, so sure was I of the product that I chose to purchase on line. All I can say is that the fit of both the shoes and boots is very "narrow" and quite unlike any Gabor product I have bought before (10 years of happily wearing you shoes and boots). So I am disappointed and returning both items today. I think that if you have changed manufacturer you should try to let regular customers know that there is a change in Last shape, or you should make it clearer that there is a narrow fit; standard fit and wide fit. On checking the items you ordered I have noted that you ordered a pair of Gabor Vesta which are a standard width fitting and additionally a pair of Gabor Bea which are a wide fitting boot. I am sorry you found the fit of these Gabor products too narrow and we will organise a refund on return of these. To look for a particular narrow/standard or wide fitting item in Gabor we do have an option to select this which you can access by selecting whether its a shoe or boot you are looking for then on the left hand side you will be able to specify exactly what you would like by fitting, occasion and properties. Disappointed that I had to pay £11 to return Boots that didn't fit. I had to organised a signed for delivery. For this reason I wouldn't order from this site again.

However you can return them to us with collect plus which is around £4.09 so much cheaper than the costs you incurred. I was searching for wide fit shoes. You marketed your shoes as wide fit but were not specfic about the width fitting. It seems your wide fit equates to a G width fitting. I was looking for EEE. If you had been more specific i would not have made the purchase. Your visual images also gave the impression the shoes had rounded toes. I was disappointed to discover that they are slightly pointed. Again had I known i would not hae made the purchase

Hello. Thankyou for your feedback. It is difficult to compare Gabor width fittings with additional brands as they are a German company. Every brand across the world will have a different view of width fittings and there is no uniformity unfortuantely. Gabor list their width fittings as follows: GABOR C = A STANDARD UK FIT GABOR C+ = A GENEROUS STANDARD UK FIT GABOR D = A WIDE UK FIT GABOR D+ = AN EXTRA WIDE UK FIT I am sorry for the disappointment regarding the shape of the toes on your recent purchase, we have forwarded a request for images to be retaken to try and highlight this in the future. I selected wide fitting shoes on your website. Some how that was not processed correctly by your webpage; therefore the shoes I received were too narrow because they were not wide fit. I have just spent £11 posting the shoes back to you. So I have wasted £11 and with the benefit of hindsight I should have put that £11 towards the train fare to London and shopped for shoes there.

Hello Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry the shoes were too narrow for you the style you selected were not a wide fitting shoe and are only made in the one width fitting. You postage costs for returning the shoes to us does seem very expensive we do offer a collect plus service which is about £5 and is usually very convenient for customers. I am sure that the shoes would be very nice, if they had fitted. I ordered size 7 (my usual size) but was sent a size 4, so no use whatsoever. I have sent them back, but had to pay my own postage for Gabor's mistake, which is very annoying.

The boots were very poor quality. Nowhere near a D fitting. Always have worn Gabor but next time will shop for them but not on line

Very slow deliveries. I ordered a pair of shoes from gaborshoes.co.uk. I thought it's an online store but not. This website belongs to Charles Clinkard. What wasn't a problem, but they sent me a pair of shoes from one of their shops. The shoes was test shoe in a shop and has a sticker on the insole. Because lot of people tried it on and the sticker was there for a while I couldn't remove it without damage the insole's surface. I was requested a replacement. It was all right the webshop assistant was very helpful and they told me that I can replace in the nearest shop. But the shop just forget about my shoe, they didn't let me know that I have the replacement then when I popped in to ask about it they didn't know nothing about it. Then I had to go back later, the shoes were there in the shop for a long time. It's also okay, but, the new one has the same issue, the shopkeeper also couldn't remove the sticker without damaging the insole. I think that a chain store like Charles Clinkard which is on the market since 1924 can't treat with shoes like this. As I ordered my stuff from a webshop not from the website of a chain store I expect that they send me a brand new unopened item from stock. If it can't fulfil this then let's write a note onto the webpage that the item might be worn or was a test/sample item in a store.

Have to pay to return! Ordered white lanzarotte toe sandals. Should have been the soft fluffy inner soles but arrived shiney leather which I did not want. All other pictures on web sites showed the synthetic innersole for the white sandals. Returned them and paid return postage, and got them from someone else who did delivery and returns free of charge and had the soft innersole. I was told by your customer services that there were not any like I had asked for. They all had leather innersoles.

We do make this as clear as possible on our website, but I am sorry if you have missed this. I have looked into your order and can see you did call up after receiving your order to enquire about the insoles. Gabor produce their Lanzarote in two types of insole, nubuck leather and smooth leather. You haven't received syntetic insoles but smooth leather insoles. We have depicted this on our website and made this distinction, because we are conscious that other retailers may stock different types of insoles. I can see you have kept the caramel Lanzarote you have ordered - these do have a nubuck insole. We vary which insoles we have from colour to colour, because we know our customers have preferences over which they like. The white has sold extremely well in the smooth leather - and this is again, probably down to customers' preference for the smooth leather insole. We have tried to make the insole composition as clear on our website but we will look into ways to make it clearer to our customers to avoid any confusion in future. Hi - the shoes I bought are absolutely lovely and so comfortable and soft (no blisters, on a hot day and walking a very long way in them the first time I wore them!). I've had several pairs of Gabor shoes. and every pair has given me comfort, durability, lovely design and a spring in my step. I'm really sorry that I can't give you a better rating, but I paid for overnight delivery, and the shoes arrived four working days later. All a bit stressful, and I had to 'phone to get them sent by the 4th day - they hadn't even been dispatched. Quite frustrating, as I ordered them online because I work long days seven days a week, so can't get to shops, and they were to wear to a special conference on the 5th day. Once I chased, you were helpful and also offered to refund the overnight delivery fee, and tracking the parcel on the eventual delivery day was very easy. It won't stop me buying from you again, as I love your shoes so much, but I will not be relying on the promise of speedy service. Great shoes, though - thank you.

We have had a short-term issue with our next day delivery option in that it was making next day delivery available to orders we physically cannot dispatch in that time frame. very disappointed, I made my order for two items on the sunday was not told until tuesday that you did not have one pair of shoes. Received two email one that both pairs were being despatched and and then one saying that only one pair would be sent. Not to the standard I was expecting.

It is a very small percentage of orders that are affected in this way and it happens when multiple orders are placed for a popular item within a short space of time. Unfortunately demand outstrips supply and we are forced to cancel it from the order. This is the first time I have purchased any shoes via the internet. Having purchased several pairs of Gabor shoes previously and been happy with the product I thought I would give it a go. I wanted to replace my current navy Moccasins which are looking very tired as I am going on holiday shortly. My shoes fit perfectly and don't gap in any way around my feet even after all the time I have had them and I wear them pretty much daily. Unfortunately when the new ones arrived on the left had shoe there was a considerable gap, which I am not at all happy with so I will be returning them.

Lack of information re delivery date. No response to emails querying no show delivery. Very slow delivery to local Jones store. Catch up, other on line stores deliver to their stores the next day.

Thank you for your feedback. I am unsure if this is feedback relating to our delivery as the shoes you ordered via the Gabor website could not be delivered to a Jones store. Your order with us was placed on 19 May and was received at your workplace on 22nd May. Interlink will text updates as to when the parcel will be delivered but unfortunately there is no mobile number on your order for them to be able to do this. Just in case you aren't aware we don't only advise Royal Mail for returns (although you are welcome to choose this method) - we recommend Collect+ also, which is £3.89 for up to 3/4 pairs of shoes. Misleading info on website re wider fit shoes. No ability to search specific width fittings - only 'WIDE' which can mean all manner of things.

Hello, Thank-you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty finding suitable wide fitting shoes. The vast majority of our Gabor products are either C+ or D width fitting. The C+ styles are classed as 'standard', while the D styles are 'wide'. Selecting the 'wide' search option will therefore display only the D width styles. We do stock a very limited number of 'D+' extra wide styles - if this is what you are looking for then you can enter 'D+' in the search bar and it will display those styles for you. I will take note of your feedback and ensure that it is considered when we assess our website setup in future. The service etc was very good as was the returns policy. However the shoes sold as navy blue definitely weren't even though it was what was said on the box and when I returned them. I am most unhappy and disappointed about this as I really wanted the shoes. Won't be buying from you again
