The boots which I purchased were described as "wide fit". Although I have only a slightly broad foot, I was unable even to put my foot inside the boot due to its narrowness. Later, I noticed from reviews on Amazon that other customers have had the same experience with this particular product. However, the customer service team are good; attentive and communicate courteously.

Although you may have worn wide fit in Gabor before, we cannot always guarantee wach style will fit especially as size is personal to each customer. Boot I ordered was in different colours and finishes. One photo was missing and the colour of 3 boots was “black”. Had to call twice to establish which was which.

The boots I purchased were sued. On receiving them they were already very marked .Consequently I thought they would become scruffy rather quickly.This was not the quality I expected for the price of boots. The delivery time from placing the order and refund on returning the boots was very good.

First part was all good - shoes arrived promptly. Delivery arrived when it said it would. Very surprised that I had to pay for returning the shoes. I have never had to do that before with online shopping. This would make me hesitate before buying on line again

Waited over a week for my delivery to come through. Called customer service and was told it would be delivered that same day or Saturday. I got an email Sunday saying my returns has been received. That was very disappointing. I called customer service and lady kindly told me the collect shop had refused the parcel. The shop was listed on your website so I don’t understand why the parcel was rejected! I reordered the shoes but really disappointed in the service.

Shoes were bought to replace an identical pair bought through John Lewis that fitted perfectly but the end of the bow came untied after being worn three times and had to be returned. Same size purchased but the replacement pair were significahtly bigger and didn’t fit. Had to return to shop as you don’t do free returns. Very disappointed,

We cannot guarantee a style will fit you especially as size is very personal and many factors can affect this. I ordered a pair of Brook SLIM knee lengths boots and, before doing so, called your customer services to check that the boots really were slim fitting as I have slim legs and small ankles. I was told they were so ordered them in good faith. I was very disappointed on receipt to find they were anything but slim fitting. The circumference at the top may have been for smaller calves but the rest of the leg was extremely baggy and unflattering. Surely SLIM means slim all the way through the leg not just at the top. Very unsatisfactory and, due to Gabor's returns policy, I then had to pay to return them. A lesson learnt not to purchase boots online again.

Hello, Thankyou for your review. Gabor Brook S are ideal for our customers who have a slimmer calf measurement. They are a standard width fitting in the foot however we are unable to provide an ankle size as this is very difficult to measure accurately. We are unable to guarantee this will fit every person especially as size is very personal and many factors do affect this. The website was not easy to use, especially when going through the payments. I ended up with the same purchase of 2 pairs of ankle boots sent to me twice. What was more irritating was that meant it cost me nearly £10 to return the one pair I chose not to buy plus the 2 pairs you sent in error. I won't be buying online from Charles Clinker again.

Not really. I didn't think the shoes were presented in pristine condition. Looked like they had been around a bit. It is the fourth pair I have had in this design piquet and have always had 5.5 but they were too small for me. I didn't want to have to pay, the returns if I had to send them back again.

I regularly buy Gabor shoes and know my size. I ordered 'medium width' boots and could not do the zip up even half way. I am someone of normal size although I do cycle. The free delivery was only click and collect and nothing near me so I had to pay for delivery. When the boots didn't fit I took them to the Post Office and sent by the method you advised - £11 !!! So the time and cost I was trying to save ended up costing me more time and money. I would not risk getting another pair online as a result.

The Gabor Lancaster are a wide fit boot with a calf circumference of 34.2 to 39.4 depending on the size of the wearers foot. The measurement for this style would have been around 36.8cm based on the size you order. Express delivery is dispatched within 2-3 working days and is £2.99, we offer a free standard service which is dispatched within 5 days. Items can also be sent to a Collectplus point (this is free) or to a local Charles Clinkard store. We have refunded your items back to the payment method used when you first placed your order and I have sent a seperate email regarding your return post. The shoes you purchased from us are not available with 50% off - Shoetique have very low stock in one size, a size 3, which is why they have reduced the item so significantly. In a size 4, the size you needed, they did not have this in stock available. Different companies will reduce items for different reasons, and indeed you will be able to find items reduced on our website at certain times of the year that are not reduced elsewhere. I am sorry if this caused you any disappointment and I hope this has not put you of shopping with us again in the future. I have worn glair shoes for quite some time and ordered shoes for an upcoming trip, I ordered the size I was wearing but when the shoes came they were all too big. The boots were my usual size but too tight. Disappointing.

There are various ways to send back your items: Instore-Charles Clinkard stores across the country can take your return free and process an exchange or a refund for you. Collectplus-£4.23 for up to 10KG which is ideal for multiple items or larger products such as handbags/boots. Post Office-Returns can be from as little as £3.00 depending on the service you use. I wore my lovely new shoes for a wedding for approximately 8 hours. Now the nubuck/suede seems to have disappeared from the toe area of the shoes. Very disappointed by the quality for the first time ever with Gabor

Ordered sandals on line, on opening box one sandal was marked. Whatever quality checking occurs prior to despatch appears to have failed. Luckily I have a local Charles Clinkard so went into the store. They tried a suede brush but could not remove the mark. I had a refund, and have ordered another pair from them. Shop staff were very helpful, as usual.

I have about twenty pairs of size 4.5 Gabor shoes - all great not this most recent delivery. Marked size 4.5 they are too small for me to wear. Looks as though size mark is incorrect Professor Diana M R Tribe

Previously you ordered a Gabor California which is a wide fitting shoe, this current item is a Gabor Vesta-this is a standard width and also a high heel so the fit would be very different. Narrow width, unlike most Gabor shoes and no mention of this in details. Had to return and pay £4.50 for "recorded" package as stated by supplier. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed - shoes too narrow and have to be returned. Gabor are known for wider fit, I feel should have stated 'narrow fit'.
