“The two pairs of trainers I bought were very uncomfortable with the leather tongue being too long sticking into my lower leg. If I wore them for any length of time, I am sure they would creat a sore area and break the skin.”

As these trainers are leather, they can be rigid at first but soften with wear. This is why we have a 365 day returns policy, to give customers to chance to wear around the house to see if this improves wearability. “I love Gabor shoes and boots and am so happy to have found a brand that combines comfort, quality and style. However I was very disappointed to find that the trainers I bought were not true to size. They run very small and narrow.”

“After years of comfort with a particular style of Gabor Shoes I'd been searching for months to buy replacements. The webpage seemed to indicate the line was being discontinued and the few pairs remaining were very small or very large, 5.5G just wasn't available. Then out of the blue an email arrived there were pairs available in the size & colours Id been looking for. The package arrived quite quickly via a company called Charles Clinkard! I was thrilled. Hopefully these new pairs will see me out!!”

“Shocking service. I paid for express delivery. DPD Local have notified me of three missed deliveries by text and email accompanied by pictures of random gates and houses but definitly not my house. According to my security camera DPD Local has not called at my gate.”

“Very good quality, well made sandals, but they are a very wide fit and way too loose on me, both the ankle strap and foot strap. Had to return.”

“These particular boots are fantastic which is why I bought 4 pairs ( 2 black, 2 navy). They look very Good, simple, nice shape, nice suede… and I was delighted to find them online having purchased them several years ago in John Lewis ( and been unable to find again). Thanks”

“I have had these boots before and loved them. Sadly when they arrived they had clearly been worn and showing wear in heels, inside footbed, soles and suede. To be fair I did get a further discount. But disappointing all the same as they didn't have a replacement pair and they are very much secondhand!”

It’s understandable to feel disappointed, especially when you have previously enjoyed the same style. In order to offer the greatest selection of our products, we sometimes source items from our stores. For this reason we cannot guarantee that our items have not been tried on at some point. Please be assured this has been brought to the attention of our Warehouse Manager, as this should not have passed our quality checks and is not a reflection of our usual standards. “I am generally very pleased with Gabor shoes. The styles are good. However, I had to return my last pair of flat shoes as they were too wide. This make does have a tendency towards this. Please note the customer has to pay for returns but the return was dealt with swiftly.”
