“Although I love Gabor shoes generally these did not work for me. When I tried to send them back the courier service only insures for £50 - Gabor shoes are always more expensive than that ! So I ended up going to the post office to return which cost £16 ! Gabor really needs to get a better courier !”

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we do not have our own courier and to send orders out but we use Royal Mail and DPD. We do ask customers to return unwanted items to us at their own cost and you may choose any courier you wish. The link on our webiste is to an outside agency (collect +) and we have an arrangement with them where for the reduced cost of £4.49 you can send back up to 10 kilo. You can however visit the Collect + site yourself and look for a service with more options if you wish, such as an insured service. Most customers tend to use Royal Mail second class and then buy tracking which is around 80p more so that they can see when they arrive. They have the option to buy insurance or not, have a next day service etc, but each add on with increase the price. I hope that this information helps. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“I absolutely love Gabor shoes. I recently purchased the court shoes- they are comfortable and perfect for work! I love them. I recently purchased a pair of winter boots also….. the leather is so soft and the boots warm and comfy! They are classy and perfect with any outfit!”

Items have sometimes been tried on, but should not look worn and we are sorry that on this occasion there were creases on the boots. “GABOR Wolf Ladies Trainers in Black and Linen Nubuck The ordering process was clear and simple online. Delivery as expected I've never before bought a pair of shoes to look so well, and feel so comfortable, they are so perfect I've ordered the same shoes in linen Nubuck. Size 5 is perfect, even though in other brands I need to get 5.5 or 6 which look big and clumpy on me.”

“Very disappointed with recent purchase of the Dublin Chelsea Boots inconsistent size. I have worn Gabor boots for a long time and always order 6.5 these were almost 2 inches longer than all my other pairs so had to return but having paid for fast delivery and then the cost to return it was really annoying.”
