Just received the Gabor RICH sandal inn shade Muschele from a supplier . What comfort! However, the strap to buckle (even with slight elasticity)! will not stretch around my ankles (which are not swollen). Have the manufacturers considered an entire elasticated strap to offer good stretch (then no need for a buckle) . So disappointed to have to return as I thought I’d found my sandal “heaven”

The shoes were delivered in a timely fashion however they are faulty so I’m having to return them to be examined. I’m hoping to receive either a different pair of the same or a full refund

I like Gabor shoes but these didn’t fit even though that was my size. I won’t be ordering again because they are so expensive to return £10. This is the second time that’s happened

The price you paid to return your item does seem expensive, I do apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused. You should have received an invoice inside your parcel explaining how to return through our online portal for £3.30. When I opened the plastic delivery bag, I found the box was completely crushed and badly torn on one end. The right hand boot is badly creased, not sure if this is a manufacturing fault or because of the bad packaging.

Took 5 days to dispatch and arrived only after 8 days of placing the order. Also no offer for free return....

Thank you for your review. On our free standard service, we do let customers know that it can take 2 to 5 workign days to dispatch. If the shoes are no longer available in our warehouse, this allows us time to get more in to fulfil the order. We also have paid services, such as express delivery for £3.99 and next day for £5.99. With regard to returns, we do deliver free of charge and on our website, we have a link where for the lower cost of £3.20 you can produce a tracked label or QR code for Royal Mail, or you may choose any other delivery service that you wish. Usually love my purchases from Gabor and even though i have 3 pairs of these same boots, i could not get these on my feet. Far too narrow. Hope you are not changing your sizing.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your boots were too narrow, the order that this relates to is a pair of shoes in the colour Pumpkin. . With regard to boots, we have not changed the sizing, and when you wear a boot it does stretch a little so a new pair would appear to be tighter. I have had many pairs of Gabor boots and shoes in a wide fit and they have always been very comfy but these really were not a good fit and were nothing like wide enough for me.

Disappointed as one show had clearly been worn. Various marks on it which were unmissable. Very disappointing, however bought Gabor shoes before on many occasions which have been great.

I love Gabor shoes. As a woman with size 9 wide feet and needing support as well as wanting a ‘trendy’ shoe. The pair of trainers I ordered were not wide enough and I had to pay £9.95 to return them. Very disappointed- am not purchasing another pair, sadly.

Thank you for your review. You can return items to one of our stores if you have one near, or choose Royal Mail second class which is cheaper. There is also a link on our website to Collect + where you can buy a label for £4.49 which covers up to 10 kilo in one package and is a tracked service. I have quite a few pairs of Gabor Shoes and I can honestly say this last pair are actually unwearable. Have sores and blisters all over my feet, hugely wide but tight across the top got a size smaller than normal and they are slipping. Very disappointing wish I’d sent them back!

The shoes were good but the delivery experience was painful. The first delivery was made to the wrong address, then came to us, only for me to find that it was the wrong shoes in the right box! I then had to contact Gabor customer services (who was excellent) who mailed me a pre-paid postage label. The next delivery of the correct shoe arrived a few days later...the only issue was the left shoe appeared to have been taken a beating (relative to the right shoe) - leather was distressed, the loops were scrunched up. It was respectable enough to keep it. I didn't have the energy to organise another re-delivery! The warehouse set up, quality checks of shoes in boxes etc seems to be poor. The shoes itself were fab!

I ordered a pair of boots and they came quickly, however they arrived in the wrong colour! I kept them because I could not be bothered sending them back and waiting on a new pair! Not what I expected from Gabor!

I am not sure what it is you have received as the only other two colours are black and taupe. We do hope that you enjoy wearing these boots and the colour does not spoil your enjoyment of them. Shoes not finished well - some threads showing. I ordered from Gabor but shoes came from Clinkard with a Clinkard label showing a price £10 less than I paid - so not a good experience!

Lovely boots which arived quickly but on opening the box, they were not what I had ordered - suede not patent. To avoid having to pay to return them I had to travel to the nearest shop to hand them back.

I love Gabor shoes, find them very well made and when they fit, very comfortable. However I had to return the ‘wide fitting’ ankle boots as they were absolutely not wide. Very disappointed indeed. I’ll have to resort to buying another make, well known for their genuinely wide fitting boots and shoes, but alas not as elegant as Gabor. So I’ve given only a two star rating as they were not wide as described.

Sadly I will be returning this purchase via Clinkards The shoes are too high cut for my foot shape. It was not very clear from the photos on the website. Normally I am very pleased with Gabor products but on this occasion cannot wear the shoes

Although I love Gabor shoes generally these did not work for me. When I tried to send them back the courier service only insures for £50 - Gabor shoes are always more expensive than that ! So I ended up going to the post office to return which cost £16 ! Gabor really needs to get a better courier !

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately we do not have our own courier and to send orders out but we use Royal Mail and DPD. We do ask customers to return unwanted items to us at their own cost and you may choose any courier you wish. The link on our webiste is to an outside agency (collect +) and we have an arrangement with them where for the reduced cost of £4.49 you can send back up to 10 kilo. You can however visit the Collect + site yourself and look for a service with more options if you wish, such as an insured service. Most customers tend to use Royal Mail second class and then buy tracking which is around 80p more so that they can see when they arrive. They have the option to buy insurance or not, have a next day service etc, but each add on with increase the price. I hope that this information helps. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

Very disappointed with recent purchase of the Dublin Chelsea Boots inconsistent size. I have worn Gabor boots for a long time and always order 6.5 these were almost 2 inches longer than all my other pairs so had to return but having paid for fast delivery and then the cost to return it was really annoying.
