“Works out too expensive for Irish users. By the time I paid for postage and packaging, the exchange rate of the item, the fee to Forwardvia and the customs charges to receive the package in Ireland it cost me over twice the price of the value of the item. I probably will never use again. The service of Forwardvia was very good, just not suitable for the Irish customer, which is a shame.”

Thank you for your feedback and comments. We are sorry to hear that you find using our service is not cost-effective. Unfortunately, country import fees are something that is beyond our control. We understand that this may be an added cost that is not viable for some customers. The shipping cost depends purely on the weight, dimension and shipping destination, regardless of the item value. Our business relies on a handling fee, which is already included in the shipping cost. The price paid for shipping not only includes the transit fees, it includes the use of a UK address, the acceptance, processing, storing and dispatch of your goods, including any export documentation required and full customer support. Our rates are available on our shipping calculator here to enable visitors to check and compare prices. This helps shoppers to decide whether it is worth shipping or check if it is within their budget.
