About Flowers by Post UK Limited:

Our flower market stall (which is still going strong) was established in 1968 in Jersey’s historic Central Market. The business has steadily evolved and grown over time and we pioneered the concept of sending “flowers by post” enabling visitors to the island to send flowers to their family, friends and neighbours.
With the advent of the internet we created our first website and to service this growing demand relocated the online business to the mainland enabling us to access greater flower supplies and help the logistics’ of floral delivery.
We embrace the different ways our customers wish to purchase and engage with us whether that is online or by using our FREEPHONE 0800 735 1065 telephone number.

I wasn't able to conclude my order on line as the final page wouldn't allow me to continue with my order. I rang the free phone number three times before I could place my order.

Recipient is pleased with the flowers but I wont be able to tell the quality or how long they will last for her. Service seems efficient.

I purchased these flowers for a friends birthday Saturday 7th September, I visited her on Tuesday 10th September and was disappointed to see Some of them were dying

I will not know what the flowers are like until I hear from my Sister on Monday - her Birthday. I am an OAP and spent a long time sorting out how to work things out, tried to phone but got nowhere with that so went back on line and at last got things right. I shall know how to do it another time. I hope her flowers will rate 5. If the do I shall use you again.

Twice I have tried to order online and was unsuccessful because of a fault on the webpage, in the end I ordered by phone, and will probably do so in future. Your flowers are great, but your online ordering stinks. J D Rowland

My use of this company has reduced over the years; I think the flowers I do still choose from them remain good quality and good value but the website itself is now not a patch on their old one, and the range and style of flowers has reduced, become very 'samey' and rather old-fashioned-looking. The quality and range of available greeting cards has also reduced similarly. It is a real shame, as this company was my go-to for all and any floral deliveries for many years, but now they are no better than the competition (others I use include Waitrose and Flying Flowers - both of whom are far from perfect too, these days... sign of the times?). I tend to stick with the spray carnations and alstroemeria bunches - recipients rarely know how to treat and keep roses well and not doing so means the entire bouquet looks tired within a day or two. As such, not wanting roses in the bouquet reduces the choice enormously and this never used to be the case with the old website/range.

The old interface provided a useful previous order history. Sadly this feature using the current interface is unhelpful. The FREE FLOWERS loyalty scheme is very much missed.

I appreciate that the flowers were delivered in a timely manner but no note was put through the door to let my daughter know. They were put at the back door - it a problem but no note meant she didn’t see them - and they were a surprise for her. Also the greesias were in bloom and very few in bud so I am not sure how long they will last - I will let you know.

Unfortunately however much I tried the discount code for the 15% HT15 would not work and therefore I landed up having to pay the full price! Therefore don’t bother to send me a 10% discount as I won’t use it!!!!!!!!!

Although the size of the pot was quoted - the photo advertising the product is very misleading. Flowers were sent to a friend who needed cheering up but I was very disappointed when I saw them. The picture shows full of flower and colour. In reality it wasn't. Sorry not a happy customer.

It is very difficult to write a review without the flowers being delivered so cannot say if the flowers were fresh and as shown/ if the delivery was on time. But one negative I must say is that there was no option to amend any spelling mistakes or errors once you have gone passed the page. I have sent an email asking for the error in spelling to be rectified. I have no idea until the flowers have been delivered if this has been done.

Everything seemed to be going so well until I received the confirmatory e mail which suggested I had not filled in the message. However I know I did. Being worried I e mailed them. I do not yet know if they have remedied the situation.

This is the first time I've been disappointed with the flowers delivered (Freesias). Will not be ordering these again.

The flowers ordered by me recently did not arrive on day requested. Apparently the reason being the order was started but not finished for some reason. I paid extra for delivery as the person they were intended for had not been well and they were meant as a nice surprise.

Flowers looking quite sorry when they arrived. Chrysanthemums were in very poor state. One had lost all its petals and the two other stems did not revive and had to be thrown away. Remainder of flowers perked up after a drink and lasted a reasonable time.

Web site very hard to follow, very hard to use, a lot of the boxes were on top of each other, it took a lot of time to get what I wanted, for something so simple Flowers by post made it complicated. Not very impressed
