About Flowers by Post UK Limited:

Our flower market stall (which is still going strong) was established in 1968 in Jersey’s historic Central Market. The business has steadily evolved and grown over time and we pioneered the concept of sending “flowers by post” enabling visitors to the island to send flowers to their family, friends and neighbours.
With the advent of the internet we created our first website and to service this growing demand relocated the online business to the mainland enabling us to access greater flower supplies and help the logistics’ of floral delivery.
We embrace the different ways our customers wish to purchase and engage with us whether that is online or by using our FREEPHONE 0800 735 1065 telephone number.
We strive to provide our customers with first class product; value for money; simple ordering processes and on time delivery methods using Royal Mail and Yodel Courier services. We match this with exceptional customer service.

I was a bit disappointed, there was only two colours also the fragrance was very week ,Freezers are my favourite flowers for the price very disappointed regards Mrs J Mitchell

It was not as good as my last order with you. It lacked colour and needed less daisy type flowers It did not appear to be good value for the money paid Disappointing

Ordering is not as good as when you could just pick up the phone and speak direct —miss the ‘treat’ of receiving a bunch myself for every £50 spent! Not everyone is digitally savvy. Basket of flowers received at Christmas was extremely poor quality and no chocolates arrived with it — on complaining just a refund given for the chocolates — left a bad taste of your service.

Service and delivery were excellent I saw the flowers 1 day after delivery and sadly 3 carnations had withered. I would have expected them to last longer

The flowers did not reach the recipients until very late on delivery day. The Delivery person was unable to make out the house number on the address label and eventually knocked on a door and left them with someone along the road . Luckily that person could make out the first name of the addressee and knew where they lived and then kindly delivered the flowers .

Paid extra to have flowers delivered by courier rather than post and they still arrived a day late. Not happy at all!

On booking my sisters flowers to be delivered on Saturday they actually arrived on the following Monday, when I queried this with your company they said the delivery is with Royal Mail and cannot know what day they will arrive, so why bother stating a date you want the flowers to arrive, this is the second problem we have had with your flowers I thought I would give you a second chance but sadly I was let down again Regards Mrs G Hawes

As discussed I would suggest a review of your website protocols to prevent duplication of orders. Whilst the flowers came on time they were a little ‘lack lustre’; see photo.

I sent some flowerers to Hereford in UK and paid 7 pounds for a specified day of delivery. The flowers did not arrive until the following day. I was disappointed by this. Jodie Inglis

Very disappointing service, flowers were ordered well in advance paid extra for specific date delivery, by 3 pm on said date tracking info was saying awaiting goods from sender, email to flowers by post sent with a prompt reply telling me that the courier didn't collect said flowers the previous day, well I would suggest that you inform the customers that your not going to be able to deliver on the customers chosen day, floweres were cancelled and a swift refund was given. Just very disappointed that I was not kept informed.

FBP is my go to firm for ordering flowers, which i seem to do quite a lot. However i had one instance recently, my sister-in -law's birthday, (Time specific) and the flowers did not arrive. A replacement was sent by FBP, and these were received. However i was a little disappointed when i saw the photograph she sent. The flowers did not look great, and not as represented in the photographs on the website. As i have never seen the flowers myself (why would I? who sends to themselves!) i cannot and have not seen first hand the quality. But her photographs did disappoint me.

I was very pleased with the quality but I found communication was poor , I didn’t get an email to say the order had been confirmed and I didn’t receive an email to tell me when the flowers had been delivered so was waiting on the recipient to keep me updated

Every customer who places an online order (provided we have been given an email) receives a confirmation email from us which summarises the order that has been placed. As this email contains an image of the flowers chosen it increases the email file size and consequently can be directed into your JUNK/SPAM mail box. Do please check this folder as we suspect your email is lurking there. When you placed your online order you chose Royal Mail First Class Post as your preferred delivery option. This delivery method does not come with any tracking (only the courier delivery option offers this service and comes at a supplement to the floral order), so you are reliant upon the recipient advising of receipt of delivery. The flowers sent were fine but I felt conned when opting to send a 'free' card I was changed for the message. It will certainly make me less inclined to re-order, it smacks very firmly of sharp practice!

Dear Roger, Thank you for posting your review. We read all our reviews in order to further improve the product and service we offer. Your order was placed online and there was an option to select a “Free” card or a paid for card. The latter was selected and were therefore charged £1.29 accordingly for the card chosen. Furthermore, before completing your transaction there was the opportunity to review your basket and amend it accordingly (you could at this point have deleted the paid for card from your basket and deselected the free card). My flower order was disappointing as it arrived late and the flowers were a poor quality however when I complained Flowers by Post quickly dealt with my concerns in a very efficient and professional manner and gave me a full refund. I was very impressed with this customer service.
