“What a difference to my old secateurs! Zoomed through the pruning in half the time. Good to know they’re British made I understand and endorsed by RHS. Spare blade and spring too. And they fitted through my letterbox, well wrapped and delivered by Royal Mail. What’s not to like?”

Good afternoon, I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment. I cannot see any correspondence from yourself regarding any issues with the order, have you contacted us regarding this? The board you purchased is described as 'printed' in the first line of the description so I apologise if you missed that. We do like to make it clear whether the boards are printed or inlaid with real wood so it will always be described as appropriate in the description. The clasps should close as normal and the hinges should not be an issue so I'm very sorry about this - please do return that to us and we can either issue a full refund or get a replacement sorted for you.
