“The item has not yet arrived so the promise of pre xmas delivery simply isn't worth the effort. Couldn't be more disappointed as ther gift wasn't and still isn't in the hands of the intended recipient. Will never trust this again.”

Hi Martin, I am so sorry for the disappointment. Your order was placed on 23rd December and you selected Standard delivery which is 5-10 working days. We did have a Next Day option available to choose which would have arrived on Christmas Eve, I am really sorry if you missed that. “I was upset and disappointed to realize the present that I'd ordered for my husband were clearly women's gloves (including the extra rush shipping to have them time for Christmas.) I did check the site to see if it might be my mistake, but typing in the same prompt I'd used to find the gloves: "men's touchscreen gloves large," pulled up the same women's gloves now sitting in front of me. Nowhere in any of the copy for this product is there an indication of which gender they're suited for, and there is nothing in the description to suggest they might be sized for women. However, as soon as I opened the package I could tell the "large" gloves (helpfully labeled as Deanna gloves by Barbour - information not included on the Farrar & Tanner site) would be far too small for my husband's girthy palms. There is no clear way to get an exchange or refund for these gloves, so I've sent an email and am waiting to hear from their customer service team. Overall, quite a disappointing experience.”

Hi Evelyn, I am very sorry for any disappointment caused. We have a free return service on the website, but I can see my colleague responded to your email with all the returns information required. If you need any further assistance with the return we'd be happy to help. The gloves are in the 'For Her' section of the website, but I totally appreciate that those gloves showing up after typing in 'Men's Gloves' would make it confusing. I think the keyword 'Gloves' has just overridden everything else and the site has shown a mixture of gloves for him and for her. I apologise for the confusion there.
