“We were absolutely delighted with the copper based tumblers. A perfect present for my husband to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. They arrived very promptly, the package was excellent and the combined weight of the glass and bases was satisfyingly heavy! Thank you so much.....”

“Very efficient firm. They ve answered my questions by email very quickly. My order left as promised, unfortunately the courier had some issues and it didn't arrive as expected but it did arrive in good state few days later. Would buy again with them. The product is exactly as expected too.”

“Placed an order for a Christmas Gift, which our dear friends at the Post Office didn't deliver due to strikes, but after contacting Customer Services and explaining the issue, the item was sent out again qand we received it the next day...brilliant!! As requested, we rejected the Royal Mail parcel when they got around to delivering it and it got immediately 'returned to sender'. Is was 1st Class Customer Service without hesitation and that is very rare these days...Will definitely buy here again. PS The item I purchased was fantastic and loved by the recipient.”

“Very happy with the Christmas present I bought, the gloves look lovely and are clearly of excellent quality. Easy to use website, straightforward payment process using PayPal, can't remember of you can sign up/ in using Google or Facebook but probably could as it was way to do.”

“Delivery arrived all messed up on Xmas eve with a piece missing. Delivery arrived late despite paying extra. Box left outside, driver just took a photo for proof. I sent an email to customer service and I am still waiting for a response. The gift was expensive and to receive it in such a bad state is disappointing.”

Hi Eloi, thank you for your review. We try to package all of our gifts as safely as possible and also as environmentally friendly as possible, usually overpacking to allow for safe transit. In this instance it does not look as if the delivery company took much care with it - I believe this to be due to the huge volume of parcels they were distributing over the Christmas period. I can see that the replacement pieces were sent and I really hope the recipient is now enjoying the game! Best wishes, Jude

“Excellent customer service when I queried my missing parcels from Royal Mail. The delay was due to the postal strike but Farrer & Tanner took responsibility and reassured me that they would sort out the problem. The parcel was duly delivered in excellent condition. Unfortunately I had to return two if the items as I had ordered the wrong size. Again no problem as a link to Royal Mail allowed me to send them back free of charge. I will definitely use Farrer & Tanner in the future.”

“The failure to communicate about the delayed delivery was disappointing and caused unnecessary stress. Although emails were eventually responded to the auto reply said to phone and the phones were not answered and said to email!”
