“DPD we’re at fault for delivering my parcel to the wrong house (never received) but Farrar & Tanner we’re excellent at ensuring I was refunded (it entered my account next day). Customer service was great over the phone. I would recommend for anyone who has issues to just call them as they were very helpful.”

Hi Simon, just tracked down your order via your email address - it is showing as delivered on 28 December, it had been sent to your local Royal Mail distribution office but then looks like it had been held up by the strikes pre Christmas and finally delivered just after. I am sorry that it was delayed and have refunded your delivery cost, I hope the recipient enjoyed the gift despite the delay. Kind regards, Jude

“I bought a knife as a Xmas present. It was dispatched very promptly but didn't arrive in over a week thanks to Royal Mail strike action. I emailed customer services as I was a bit concerned. I received a reply very quickly saying there were delays and asked me to get back to them if I didn't receive it in a few more days. It arrived the next day. I emailed again to say thanks and got a Merry Xmas email back promptly. Thanks Ben. The knife is excellent. My husband was delighted with it.”

“I was awaiting stock of a knife set from a different supplier but spotted the Acacia block with staysharp knives from Farrar and Tanner so decided to order this instead and I was not disappointed. It looks very stylish and the knives are the excellent quality that you would expect from the Sabatier brand. By, being able to get the block engraved made it a personal gift and the speed of despatch was brilliant. I will be ordering from this company in the future.”

“Purchased as a Christmas present for special friends,the gift as such is very nice and well presented, just a little disappointed that the engraving which I thought I’d selected hadn’t been done. Perhaps my fault as I thought I had followed the instructions correctly, but nevertheless the less I’m sure they will be well pleased, it’s the thought after all.”

“I ordered the engraved Backgammon set for my parents for Christmas. The set arrived without the engraving. I contacted the help desk and was told they would send the engraving separately. It never arrived. When my parents opened the gift, the dice shakers were broken and splintered. I have asked for replacements and have heard nothing back.”
