“Best place online in the UK for highest quality meat products, sourced mostly locally near Ripon. Beef for Christmas and a stuffed boneless duck for another Christmas meal we perfect, with excellent instructions for roasting. Delivered on time in environmentally friendly packaging.”

“Excellent easy carve chicken with truffle. Cooked superb, the most moist and tender chicken I have eaten. The chateaubrand was the tastiest filet I have tasted.”

“I've enjoyed all the meat I bought from Farmison, the quality is excellent and butchery is good. The meat is always delivered on the day requested, and because the courier company is dependable this helps with the delivery. I like the new eco packing, it seems very practical and convenient, although I am not how it will work in the summer with warmer temperatures. Packaging is good, and the portion sizes are generous. Excellent.”

“Ordering was simple and Christmas slot booked was met as promised - beef fillet for a beef wellington was enjoyable but was not blown away with taste/quality as I had expected to be.”

“Products tasted good mostly but was hoping the quality was higher than it turned out to be especially finding the ingredients included sulphites . The wellington was good overall but the the beef fillet was not as tender as it should be. I usually make it from scratch but had no time to do so.”

“For Christmas I ordered a cooked dry cure turkey leg, poultry gravy, traditional chipolata sausages, gratin dauphinois and black pudding. The turkey leg that had been cooked sous-vide was delicious and moist. A+ Poultry gravy and black pudding were also top drawer. The chipolata sausages were not to our taste with an odd sweet flavour. The gratin dauphinois was disappointing - bland, lacking in garlic and even though we cooked it for longer than the instructions said, the potatoes were too hard.”

“Very impressed with the quality of the meat, and prompt delivery in great condition, but in previous years options were included to return the packaging for recycling which are now absent, and one of the parcels was dumped on the doorstep without trying to knock (we were in luckily and witnessed the driver run away!). Communications in advance of dispatch also seem less helpful, the order was marked as complete 6 weeks before dispatch and the only update after that was on the day of delivery, previously there were emails to keep you advised. Overall I'd still recommend, but standards are slipping.”

“Having never purchased from an ‘online’ meat supplier before I was nervous about what I might receive, but I was blown away by the quality of meat and the quality of delivery, the beef I bought for Christmas took pride of place on the dinner table, I will definitely be purchasing my meat now from Farmison&Co 😃”
