“Very fresh food, the meats are perfectly cut, and aged. They are not pumped up full of water like the supermarkets, fast delivery and well package”

“Three bird roast was underweight and poorly constructed, such that it fell apart when taken out of its bag and had to be re trussed. Furthermore it was marketed as having cranberry stuffing, if the one we received had ever seen a cranberry, I'll eat my hat”

“Amazing food we were so happy with our meat, it was really tasty 😋 and the instructions for cooking easy to follow. We had duck, sausages, sausage meat stuffing, the Yorkshire batter mix, roast potatoes and the creamy potatoes, with the gravy.”

“This is the second year we have purchased our turkey from Farmisons and we were not disappointed! Outstanding service, timely delivery and the quality of the produce is second to none. “Ordered the black pudding for a Christmas meal accompaniment as my daughter has a gluten allergy. Online it says gluten free but when I received the, the packaging clearly stated that it contained gluten so unfortunately she was unable to eat it. Very dissapointing. In addition the Ripon streaky bacon was far too salty.”

“I ordered the crown of duck and the beef sirloin joint for Christmas. The packing was not brilliant, as the duck crown had been flattened a lot to pack it into a smaller box, I presume. It did not recover its shape. I followed the recipes from the site to cook both meats. The beef was very tender and if that was all I had bought, would have received a 5-star rating. However I am sorry to say that the duck crown had been squashed too much and the scoring seemed to have been done in a hurry, cutting right through to the meat. So although I followed the cooking instructions, it was not at all what I expected in texture. I think it went quite dry and not as pink as I normally prefer. Hence the 4-stars.”

“Received my Christmas order on 23/12.23 as promised. Deliciousness in a box. The turkey parcels were amazing and more than enough for 2 meals. Roast potatoes the same deliciousness and enough for another meal. So Boxing day we had bubble and squeak with the Yorkshire puddings. I will do the same order next Christmas. We were so pleased with everything. Thank you.”

“I ordered a bronze turkey back in November, to be delivered 23 December. I was becoming increasingly worried as I'd had no further indication when to expect it, then a few days before, I did receive confirmation of said delivery. The only complaint I would have with DPD is that they left the box on the doorstep, in the rain, and failed to ring the bell! Lucky I was checking. I prepared the turkey according to said instructions, and was surprised to find it was cooked very early, in fact over an hour before, so had to wrap it up for over 2 hours!!! But it was a very tasty bird, and I've been cooking turkeys in various countries for over 50 years.”

“First class diamond star meat and poultry. The chicken has exceptional flavour and is so tender. The steak is like butter, tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The sirloin roast (which we had Christmas Day) was unbelievable. I have never bought a roast of beef, so good. My son was so impressed I have had to order more. I will NOT buy chicken or beef anywhere else. Everything is so well packed for delivery and there is always a good choice of delivery days. DPD who deliver are very efficient, they give a one hour time slot - which very few companies do today. What's not to like!!”
