“Recently ordered from Farmison. Delivery on agreed date. Well packaged, excellent condition. The main part of the order was for a Boxing day dinner party. I am a classically trained chef with over 60 years experience, the quality of the product (2 feather blades) was excellent. Will certainly use Farmison in the near future.”

“We ordered a number of items for the Christmas period delivery on the 23rd. The box delivered was very wet and not very cold at all. We froze some of the sausages and bacon but with limited space we put the rest in the fridge. The beef on Xmas day was ok but the whole chicken, Boston butt and pork chops smelled very strong on opening prior to the use by dates so had to be thrown away. We always get meat from a butcher so we are aware there is a difference with supermarket meat etc. probably a poor reflection but as a first time user I wouldn’t recommend based on other mail order suppliers we have used.”

“Reliable delivery, came when said it would. Was happy to see packaging could be recycled. The rib of beef was utterly delicious as I knew it would be from past experience. Pigs in blankets were also very tasty. To save time this year I decided to buy the roast potatoes which was a risk as I am famed for my roasties. However what a triumph these turned out to be, just gorgeous. Fabulous food all round.”

“Ordered our Christmas meat from Farmison. First, the good: Everything arrived on time, exactly when it said it would, with a reputable courier. The main course, Porchetta, was absolutely superb. Extremely tasty, brilliant cooking instructions for a perfectly crispy crackling, and plenty of meat to feed us (and leftovers). It was the first time we'd had this particular cut and would definitely order it again. The not so good: The dauphinoise potatoes I ordered was not properly sealed, soaking the entire delivery box and packaging with cream sauce, which leaked all over the inside and outside of the box, and obviously couldn't be eaten. The pigs in blankets and bacon-wrapped stuffing balls were not great. When they came out of the oven, they were swimming in so much watery fat it was quite unpleasant (even with an extra five minutes). Glad I had extras bought from Tesco because they were very crisp without any leakage. The duck parcels were so-so, though the cooking instructions were definitely off as they looked burnt when they came out of the oven. They tasted okay, but would not order them or the pigs in blankets again.”

“We had our Christmas order from Farmison for the first time. The Turkey breast was a big hit. Even my daughter who doesn’t like Turkey enjoyed it. We had the Venison and pork meatloaf Christmas eve and had this in a burger bun with wedges and salad. A huge hit with the whole family. It was very tasty and could be a new tradition!!! The stuffed duck however split the camp. Personally I was disappointed with the fruit stuffing it was not as tasty as we had hoped. Last bit not least we had the stuffing with fruits to make my stuffing wreath. This was incredibly tasty and will definitely be using this again. All in all a great success and we will be ordering again. Thank you.”

“Farmisons meat is the best tasting meat I have had in years. It reminds me of the meat we used to get when I was a little girl over sixty years ago. Those were the days before factory farming, Farmisons products come from ethically reared animals of heritage breeds. I would prefer to pay more for quality meat and have less cruelty on my conscience and less cruelty in my meals.”

“The porchetta was delicious and made a lovey change from our usual turkey , the chicken only just made it to its eat by date dispite being kept in a highly efficient fridge but it was good and I definitely would buy again , thank you for a very good service”
