“Cumberland, Toulouse, and Lamb Merguez sausages are all excellent, and would warrant five stars. Four stars are given this time because the Toulouse sausages shipped had a very short 'best before' date. If food is sold by mail order, items shipped shoud have a longer 'best before' date than just three days from the day of despatch / delivery.”

“I am a keen home chef and I had a 10-course tasting menu for 20 last week. I used Farmison because I have confidence in the quality, freshness and food delivery. Unfortunately, my delivery was delayed due to a component being late, but I was told of this at 5:45pm on the original dispatch day. I therefore wasn’t able to find a solution to get the meat to me on time. Paul was very apologetic for the very late notice and they managed to get it sent out to arrive a day late. This gave me very little breathing room for errors and put more on my plate in prep. When the meat did arrive, I had an issue with the lamb cut quality, and I had to head straight to London Smithfield to source some replacement lamb rump of adequate quality.”

“We didn't know Balmoral Chicken was a "thing" until we found it on Farmison's website. What a glorious way to celebrate Burns Night - made catering for a supper party very easy. Thoroughly enjoyed by all four of us.”

“I love the website, the well packaged boxes, the food itself and the cooking instructions provided online for each of the items I ordered. The Balmoral chicken was delicious, and incredibly easy to cook. I only regretted not ordering the sauce to go with it! I haven't yet made the venison steaks and diced venison, but am looking forward to that soon. My partner is now slightly obssessed wtih the pies on the website, and has to be dissuaded from ordering...”

“I have used Farmison since around lockdown and I am continually pleased with both the products and the service!! Great meat, packed well and postage is always prompt and on time! Where there has been any issues, they have been quickly and pleasantly resolved!! A good company to deal with for peace of kind and dinner times!!”

“We ordered all our christmas meats from Famisons. We decided to get a large chicken over turkey this year. The chicken roasted beautifully and was moist and held its flavour with minimal moisture loss through water etc (as is the way with supermarket bought free range chicken) for a very reasonable price. The ham was THE most delicious ham we have had in years. Though precooked and prepared we gently warmed it through, to serve alongside the other meats and trims. Made lovely sanwiches and snack after too. The delivery was on time, packaged well and stayed cool and fresh. I have been looking into ordering our bi-weekly meat shops from Famisons instead of supermarket or even local buthcher. Highly recommend!”

“I ordered the Ripon Cathedral half horseshoe gammon again for Christmas 2023. Lovely ham. Also ordered traditional pigs in blankets for the first time. Goods were delivered on time and well packed. Both will be ordered for Christmas 2024.”

“Fantastic ! Just cooked some Mutton dice ,beautiful full of flavour and so tender ,glad I have ordered more.All the products I have ordered have been exactly as listed ,arrived really well packaged,and on time .Never found it easier to buy quality products supporting smaller producers.”
