“The contents of my parcel were excellent. The delivery was a disaster. We were away and had nominated a neighbour to receive it. I was very clear about this, However it was left on a windowsill by my front door on the busiest street in Salisbury torn crntre photograph to prove this. How any one can call a narrow windfos sill a front porch amazes and disappoints me! We drove past our house looking for a parking space on our return and my husband stopped the car and I ran to retrieve my ham glazing my food order so relieved it had sat there all day without anyone taking it. Meat was fine delivery atrocious! Driver probably under extreme pressure! Won’t order again for the delivery reason alone, Ham was delicious!”

“Ordered the porchetta joint for Christmas Dinner. Fabulous, perfect, magnificent. We have a little house in Tuscany and regularly buy sliced porchetta from the local market in a panini for breakfast. The joint from Farmison was very authentic and as good as we get in Italy. And we still have a bit left for for panini for breakfast tomorrow. PERFECT.”

“I left it rather late to order my meet this year and, although I live with a herd of wild red dear who hang around under my window every night of late September/ October ( Thetford Forest, Norfolk) making their presence felt, I was unable to source local venison for Christmas Day. Consequently, I hit the internet and came across Farmison & Co. I phoned to check that I could still order for Christmas and had a lovely chat with a lady at the shop. We discussed how my husband, eldest son and I had recently visited Ripon, along with the delights of Ripon cathedral and nearby Fountains Abbey, where the Farmison venison is reared, and I was reassured that I could still order for Christmas. I ordered Two canons of venison which arrived incredibly promptly, as promised. On Christmas Day I cooked them in no time at all and the meet was simply magnificent. Served medium rare, buttery, lean, incredibly tender and utterly delicious! It went down a complete storm with my large family. Despite local availability in darkest Norfolk, I would order from Farmison again like a shot. Like most of us nowadays, I tend to take on-line advertising with a pinch of salt - in this case both the delightful customer service and the product itself lived up to the hype and exceeded my expectations. “The beef fillet and rack of lamb I ordered arrived on time. I made a beef wellington with the beef and the beef was beautiful.. The rack of lamb was fantastic as well. Very tasty. I would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again.”

“I ordered a turkey, sausage meat, sauce and bread sauce for Christmas. It was all delivered perfectly fresh and arrived exactly on time. The turkey was quite tasty but the bread sauce was really unpleasant and sadly ended up in the bin. The stuffing sausage meat was ok but a little salty for my taste”

“The Fore Rib of Beef was superb, the roast potatoes were superb, the Dauphinoise potatoes were mediocre, that’s the reason I gave you 4 Stars and not 5. They were tasteless, some of the potato slices were hard and there were mostly broken bits. Also, the parcel was delivered soaking wet as one of the ice packs had burst, although this didn’t affect the food.”

“The 2nd time we've ordered from Farmison who have, on both occassions delivered precisely on schedule. On this occassion the order included a turkey crown and sirloin of beef. Both were exceptional in quality and taste so that's always a win. In our opinion, the flavour and quality of the cathedral bacon cannot be beaten!”
