I'm very disappointed with my order. The service is good order arrived and was well packaged. But of the order of 1 oriental poppy, 5 dahlias of different colours and Crocosmia corms not a single one has grown. This is such a shame as the Dahlia colours looked wonderful. Sorry but I won't risk another order.

Excellent customer service, price and delivery. I have a question about my alliums that have had no green growth let alone flower, is it because I live in Valencia East Spain is it the heat as I've wanted to grow them as they remind me of my late sister who lived in the uk as I originally from. I planted them in a large terracotta pot as I was worried about snails eating them! I keep trying can you advice me or should I try something else, I didn't have much luck with my tulips, my anamone did well though! Sheriza

Hello, Providing alliums are planted between September and December, they are usually very reliable. It could be that it is not cold enough over winter to grow some allium varieties, as they need to experience some cold temperatures as part of their growth cycle. I bought 13 begonia bulbs, and can honestly say that at least 5 haven't even started to shoot. They have been in shallow dirt for 2 months and nothing. They actually look dead. Disappointing to say the least.

I ordered 17 bulbs. More than 10 of them were completely dry / dead, rotten /. After the complaint, they sent me 20 bulbs of plants as compensation, which I do not need, but on the other hand, dry and dead again. This is a mockery.

I ordered plants, not bulbs. They are good prices, and a beautiful website, BUT... be aware that the plants arrive ‘bare rooted’. Mine arrived in what looked like quite a sorry state (the picture below is of Iris, planted 22 March and still barely sprouting, though hopefully still alive) and have been extremely slow to catch up (even allowing for the cold spring). They are probably a month or more behind anything I would have bought potted, so I’m not sure I would use the website again

Hello, We don't stock and potted planbts, only flower bulbs and bare root perennials and advertised on the product pages of our website. When irises are planted in spring, they will be behind established irises already in growth in your garden, but by next year they should all start to sprout at around the same time. From the three orders I have made all had flowers that were not correct, the colour was not true to the type or totally wrong, dark plum ranunculus order was yellow and pink flowers, canna that was pale apricot was bright yellow, dahlia was also completely wrong type. Beautiful web-site, wonderful selection of plants good customer service if only the product would be right.

I ordered 20 different bulbs and only one has come up , very disappointed as ordered after reading other reviews, also friends and family orders after I showed them the site . Will not be buying from farmer Gracey again , shame

I am very disappointed - I have spent a lot of money with your company - and this year among other plants - ordered your special offer of 3 XXL Peonies - the photo you use for marketing shows peony roots larger for 1 than my three roots combined. -- Two of the roots have only one or two shoots -- while the third one - also small has several. -- I know my order was shipped from Holland - and you should be quite angry. The Echinacea Hot Papaya was not looking good when it arrived, now it is dead, it has never been outside as the frost here has been bad..it has been planted and lived in my conservatory..but died anyway. I have no luck sending for plants..I am 74 and gardening all my life. Think I will stick to growing my own from seed...always better. Perhaps a substitute would be nice ...

After reading all the wonderful reviews about Farmer gracy I put my first order in. When they arrived I potted them up. I'm very dissapointed at the moment. 1 month on and nothing showing on the daliahs and my Echinacea looks dead. Wish I had waited and gone to a garden centre, at least you can see what you are buying.

Note: I have waited to write this review until spring, as I wanted to see how the bulbs planted in autumn performed. In autumn, I ordered and planted £50 of a number of different types of bulbs from Farmer Gracy. The bulbs arrived beautifully packaged and I excitedly waited for spring to see the results, but unfortunately I have been dissapointed. The narcissus and eranthis have grown OK, but only about 30% of the 200 species crocus and 2 of the 30 snakes head fritillary flowered. It both cases I already have bulbs of the same type in the same area that flower well, yet the Gracy bulbs produced plants that were small and weak. As yet, none of the 5 erythronium and 25 cammasia have made an appearance and I'd expect to see some growth for both by now. I contacted Farmer Gracy about the crocus and they did offer a refund on the bulbs that didn't flower which is great but I don't feel I can contact them again now for the others. To be honest a partial refund doesn't really make up for the hard work required to plant all these bulbs and the wasted year in terms of bringing the garden on. In their email to me they suggested the winter conditions (in particular waterlogged soil) may be to blame but I planted bulbs from another well known supplier at the same time and they have had no problems. Very dissapointed and I don't think I will use them again.

My first time ordering with Farmer Gracy; however I am not very happy. I ordered 2 Iris germanica rhizomes (Red Zinger & Batik) and they arrived both very small probably the size in width as a £2 coin (even though it's sold a 'top size') which were very dry. In my opinion they didn't justify the price I had paid (£4.95 and £5.95 respectively). The order of the dahlia's wasn't great either - The tubers that did arrive were either very small, some looked questionable and others had been broken entirely; not to mention a pack of 3 only had 2 tubers. I have e-Mailed the customer service team but haven't heard back... I hope to hear a response soon; because I had planned on purchasing another 10 or so dahlia. But I would like to have piece of mind that this isn't the quality I'll be sent again - even if the items are now in the 'sale' they wouldn't justify the price if I was sent the same quality as before. - Just makes sense to see the issue resolved properly first before embarking on another purchase. Especially because I have no other experience to go off. The choice is now yours Farmer Gracy.

I didn't order any red tulips yet my garden now has several of them. I have no red in my colour scheme so it's a bit jarring. Clearly the bulbs have been mixed up. I only ordered tulips from Farmer Gracy and this is the first time I've planted tulips in the garden. My first Farmer Gracy order was for an abundance of tulips and rinocculas. The rinocculas aren't up yet so it's not possible to rate my satisfaction. What is unfortunate is to wait several months to see the landscape design come to fruition only to be disappointed by colours not in the plan and jarring against the rest.

It pains me to say that, none of the orders I have received have been of a standard I would expect for the price paid. When I have contacted 'Farmer Gracy' regarding this, The Items have been replaced but, the replacements have been just as poor. The choice of available plants has been appealing, but experience will stop me from making any future purchases.

2nd March order No FG287585 Col-white lava & Col-illustrus ,on delivery where found to be papery & dry with no solidity to bulbs, replaced FG346751 both dried up & have failed, I grow Colocasia & would not have offered my friends bulbs you delivered in that state.

Last years tubers have not started sprouting yet whilst exactly the same dahlia tutors from another source are over 10inches tall. Items ordered several weeks ago have not yet been received, which means that yet again they will be late going in to the ground
